Rated 2 out of 5 by from GE Microwave Not What It Is Cracked Up to BE I bought this microwave as an emergency purchase when ours went out. Normally, I research for several weeks before buying such items or larger. What a mistake I made and regret it dearly. It frankly would make a better door stop than a microwave. It does not work properly half the time. One never knows if it work or not. Sometimes it is great and does the cooking well. Others times it won't even start and the next day it works fine. It you want a microwave oven that only works sometimes (or need a newer one but always have an old used one handy, since they seem to last for decades) this is the microwave for you. Perhaps they should attached an ad to it saying "Works Periodically. IF You Want Your Oven to Work ALL THE TIME, DO NOT BUY. It would make a good lampstand, shelf or doorstop. I think it would always work for those applications, although maybe it would be crushed by too many books or items if used as a shelf. Cheap looking, non operating consistently, and never know if it will work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spacious We bought this model because it fit our space requirements both inside and out. We also wanted a white one and this fit the bill on that too. We returned the first one we bought because it had a crease in the side of the cabinet, but it also didn't work properly. It would often turn on when you closed the door. The new one has none of these problems and seems to be working as expected. . This unit is more noisy than the old one, but seems to work well. It has plenty of features and I like the beverage button where it senses how hot that cup of coffee is and heats it up the exact amount needed. The potato button also works great. All in all, I like it. I just hope it lasts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from large capacity; had all of my "must-have" features I purchased this microwave days before family arrived for Thanksgiving, 2016. It was very much like the other GE microwave I had purchased in 2004, which this one replaced. Start and stop are easy to find on the right. The "add 30 seconds" button is used frequently. That, and the light being on while cooking, are MUSTS in my estimation. Smooth operation with just enough noise so you realize something is in there. The one improvement I would suggest is a backlit function/keypad, so you could operate the microwave in the dark: popcorn! But this microwave is FABULOUS as is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good enough to buy again. I bought the earlier version of this model several years ago, and it was a good little workhorse for the kitchen. There were only two things about the old model that I didn't like, and this model got rid of one of them. There are no more annoying messages telling me that my food is ready. It does still have a recessed light display, and the new model is even more recessed than the old one, so it's even harder to read the time. However, even with the top of the numbers cut off, it still cooks, and it's easy to use, and I like the larger space (2 cu ft).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great all-around microwave. Great all-around microwave. I've had a similar model like this from GE and had some issues with it rusting on the inside after a few weeks from the moisture buildup . I have not seen this in this model it seems to be a little improved from the last one. It has many good features and I love the size. After my original bad experience with the older model from GE I purchased a competitors brand .The The competitors brand only lasted me two years. So far this GE is what I want I hope it will last much longer than my last microwave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooks great, lots of space, and good features. I got this one after my previous microwave from another company died within 4 months for no reason at all. I pressed the button for quick 2 minutes and it died. This one has been great so far. It cooks faster than my other 1200 watt and I can put large dishes in with the adequate space. It's also nice that I can turn the beeping off so it doesn't annoy those around me. The defrost feature works great for frozen fruit and jars of homemade chili I freezed to keep on hand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Counter Microwave We bought this a month ago and are very happy with the features of this product. Our only complaint is that the manual was not included with the product. This is a cheap way to save a dollar. While you can obtain one by requesting, the consumer should not have to. We are very happy with the function of this product and can honestly say thus far, it is the best microwave we have every owned. I would have given this product a five star rating had the manual been included.

how far are the front legs from the front of the oven?

Asked by: Sherill
Hi Sherill- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for considering a GE Series Microwave! The centerpoint of the front feet is approximately 2.9" from the front of the microwave. The distance between the centerpoint of the front and back feet is approximately 10.85". The distance between the centerpoint of the right and left feet is approximately 18.86". We hope this helps. Thanks for checking with us!

What are the inside measurements?

We bought rectangular dishes, and they won't spin in our current microwave. They are 12 in. long X 9 in. wide. Will they spin in this one?
Asked by: KELLY
Hi KELLY- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for your consideration! The microwave is equipped with an extra-large 16" turntable that rotates food throughout the cycle and accommodates large cookware. The cavity is 16-3/4" Wide x 11-1/4" High x 18-1/8" Deep. We hope this is helpful. Thanks for checking with us!
