I love Alfred Dunner but these are not denim. They neither look nor feel like denim. They are just regular Alfred Dunner pull-on pants in a dingy black color.

I ordered a medium and it runs short in the length and rise. Also they have to be ironed--they don't come out of the dryer ready to wear.

This is my second pair of these black denim pants. The first were comfortable and wore well. However, the color faded so I bought another pair. Even with the color fading, I know I will get long wear from the pants. They are true to size and fit well around the hips and waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LadyLiberty1 I'm not a jeans-wearing person, but I really like these for comfort.
They are great for around the house and shopping errands. They look nice too. I'm 5' 7" and found them to be a tad bit short after washing, to I let the leg hems out. They were okay the way they were, but I prefer my pants legs a big longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by abclady Comfy basic black jeans!
I was very pleased that jcpenney offers this particular brand for women 's clothing! Alfred Dunner is a very respected and desired brand, especially for women sizes.
This particular basic jean is offered in black and the material is so comfortable, light weight and easy to care for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maria432 Good purchase!
I would recommend this product because of the excellent fit, comfortable fabric, and because these jeans can be dressed up or down for varied wear. A great addition to the closet!

These are a great fit and comfortable. Easy to care for as well. Wish Dunner would make a button/zipper version with elastic back waistband. This style would make it easier to get them on and off.
