I chose the burgundy color which if you decide to purchase I would not recommend as an everyday shoe. The styling on the shoe is quite nice and I got a lot of looks when these were new. But they quickly showed signs of wear, with deep creases in the top where the toes bend. And because of the burgundy color additional blemishes were not easy to hide. I had this pair about a year and then I had to "retire them" because they just started looking too worn. A good quality European leather shoe will last 2 or 3 years with virtually no visible wear to the exterior - just change out the soles. But this is an Indian import and obviously a much cheaper quality.
The shoe is not a bad addition to your collection, just don't expect to wear it so often - though those creases did set into the toe of my shoes after only a few weeks of wear. Not the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn either, but not terrible. I do like the styling on the sole of the shoe - it looks like an expensive shoe and they look really nice new; they just don't hold up well on the quality end of things...

This is my second pair of the Florsheim Lexington shoes from JC Penny. I found the first pair to wear comfortably and the material held up to daily wear. With Winter approaching I decided to get a second identical pair to go to work and to have one for less desirable outdoor elements and the newer pair for indoors and nicer days.

After years of wearing Bostonian's I tried Florsheim. They are a good looking shoe and that's where it ends. I had some heal lift and figured over time they would break in. I have about 30 hours in them and so far, they are an uncomfortable shoe to wear and my feet hurt at the end of the day. The heal lift is somewhat better but still not resolved.

Have been waiting for this shoe in my size for a long time. Now that I have it, I cherish this product. Love the fit, style, and the comfort. Next, I want the same shoe in burgandy.

I have trouble getting size 14 shoes. I ordered these shoes on line and am going to return them for a size 13.

They look good and feel good as well. They are a quality shoe that goes well with all my dress clothing. I even have 2 pairs on in black and one in brown. I enjoy wearing them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RicGillis A Decent Shoe At A Good Price!
The Florsheim Lexington is a well designed and stylish shoe at a good price. I've owned 2 pairs in black for approximately 2 years now. Since I have a wide foot, I like the fact that it comes in 3E width!, as not many shoe manufacturers make good looking wide shoes. Although the shoe feels comfortable, it's leather quality creases and blemishes easily, especially in the toe bend area, thus making them look quite aged quickly. I wouldn't recommend this shoe for everyday wear, but, as part of your shoe rotation, or, for special occasions of sort.

My husband has been buying these shoes for the past 5 years. He has tried many brands and styles over the years, but these are the ones he keeps going back to. Because of his job, he wears them 6 days a week, all day long. These are the only dress shoes that don't bother his feet or back. They wear very well. The creases that others have mentioned are just not a problem. Once they are broken in there are a few crease lines, but they are not noticeable. Each pair lasts him 16-18 months - much longer than other brands he has tried.
