Rated 5 out of 5 by OldGeezer1 Best Ever!!
These are LITERALLY the best jeans I have ever worn. Being a larger size, older man, I have trouble finding clothes that fit well. Jeans were almost completely out of the picture. I wasn't sure about the Boot Jeans when I got them, but when I put them on, all doubt faded. The fit was great - and this is coming from a guy who's jeans have over the years felt like leotards, or made me look a great deal heavier than I liked. These Arizonas are perfect and I get compliments when wearing them. At my age, compliments are rare and every bit counts!! To all you older guys out there who like me are a bit fuller than we used to be, this jean may very well be for you. It has a slim style, but with a nice amount of room in the seat and thigh - unusual for a boot jean. The next plus is the price, and I have found Penny's customer service to be spectacular as well. I don't plan on shopping at many other establishments after ordering from Pennys. Do it today!! You won't be disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Aplonis Pretty much average, like all the rest. Distinction is lost.
I'd long been very much pleased with the item number RN5234128Q jeans of which I'd bought two pair in-store and three pair online from JCP in 2011. Was hoping to get more of the same. Those had double belt loops in back, either side of the center seam so that when I might lean back against something hard (or while doing sit-ups on the floor) without a belt they did not dent uncomfortably straight into my spine. An excellent design, that, well engineered. Also I liked the total plain pockets. Alas #like most everything I value as perfect# JCP has discontinued that design.
So, insteaed, I settled on these for lack of time to hunt around. They're just okay. I might buy again, but not without some shopping around. The extra loops were functional. The fancy pocket stitching is just silly fashion. I'd like to slap whoever made the decision for this petty change that made them no different at all from all the rest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by InstrumentalGal Thank you, JCPenney, for sizing!
I know I've written this before: that all the men in my family, whether young or older, are tall and thin. So Big and Tall is always too wide, and regular sizes are too short. My son wears a 29W x 34L pant. I had a problem when he became a teenager, because these jeans only went to 29 x 32. I used to go around with a 29 x 32 in the store, holding the waist up next to the 30 x 34s and hoping to find some tight-waisted ones. This would take more than 30 minutes at a time, and often I couldn't find any. I wrote to JCPenney asking them to consider stocking the longer size, but without much hope. Lo and behold, I was looking online one day, and the bootcut Arizona jeans that my son prefers now come in 29 x 34 online! I stocked up on several pairs. Now the fit is perfect. Thank you, oh thank you! I know there are many other families out there who need these long thin sizes, so you're doing a great thing. Also, this is not limited to young age. My husband was the same until he was about 40 years old. The thick denim is also great for winter, and much better quality than some of the very thin denim I am finding from some other companies.

I was a huge Levi's brand kind of person. Until my Levi's started wearing out faster because of the thinner fabric they are using today. The first time I pickup up a pair of Arizona jean I could fill the difference in my finger tips, that thick quality fabric that I grew up with and felt protected behind, the fine stitching that I know wouldn't come apart at the seams like another brand I use to fill up my dresser drawers. I thought to myself for a moment these Arizona jeans can't be that good for this price... but they were and they are and surprisingly they're even comfortable. So has Jcpenneys really perfected quality and value? I can give a long thought out argument why I think they are, but the short version is just simply... yes.
