Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband loves the pockets, and the fit. He enjoys using them for work. Great for the working man, pockets for extra things needed for building are a plus. They have a comfortable fit that my husband enjoys. They wash well and can be used for everyday wear. All ages of men in my family enjoy the larger thigh cut that these jeans offer. The color is liked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is not the same loose fit carpenter jeans of JCP past the prior loose or relaxed fit carpenter jeans provided much room for activities other than standing straight up and trying to walk. I was very happy when I discovered that this item which is no longer available in my local stores was available online. I had tried Lee, Levis and Wrangler carpenter jeans, but none of them compared to the older Arizona carpenters. Carpenter jeans should provide some maneuverability, I kind of thought that was the whole point. This new batch is boot cut and way too tight fitting. I like to be able to tie my shoes when they come untied. Guess I am supposed to switch out my shoes for boots. I decided to return the batch to the local store and keep looking for a replacement for what used to be the best product in it's class.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too tight to work in Preface: I own 2 pairs of 34" loose fit Arizona pants (not jeans). They're 20 y/o. The waist is loose and the seat and thighs are loose (24"dia). I like my pants loose so I can move. So I figured these being a work pant - even tho listed as straight fit/leg - surely would have some -working room. Wrong. My fault I know. Waist was 33" (should've been 34"), thighs 22", seat (hips) 44" 3" less in the crotch area than the loose fit. Inseam was 31". Half inch longer than 30" ordered. The front pockets angle further down the leg like a woman's pants. Hence are easier to get your hand into... but look/feel strange. The rear pockets are 7" deep which when combined with the narrow straight thighs, makes walking and bending over harder. In my opinion these are too tight to work in. I'd like to request Arizona to please make a pair of carpenters in a LOOSE FIT

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fits well I have purchased Arizona Carpenter Jeans for my son in law for his birthday and/or Christmas gifts for years as it is his favorite. He recently wrecked his last pair. He was frustrated since he could not find them in his home town JCP store and couldn't find any other brand of carpenter jeans to fit him like the Arizona carpenter does anywhere. He wears a 34/30, a size not easy to find. His wife (my daughter) called me from their home in Rapid City SD for help. I ( a retired JCP Associate from the Fargo ND store) went to my Fargo ND store for help, it was the last day of a VIP sale. A young man in the young men's dept. was very helpful and knew what carpenter jeans were. His name was M. Augustine. We looked on JCP.Com for the jeans and he found them! The jeans were on sale, it was such a fantastic FIND I ordered three pair then decided to order three more pair (to keep in son in law supplied for a while) they shipped free directly to the Rapid City SD store. I made a big hit with my son in law to supply him with his favorite Arizona Carpenter jeans as my birthday gift to him. Thanks to JCPenney!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Only Jeans My Husband Will Wear With all the skinny and low raise jeans that men are wearing now a days which is not my husband's taste in the least. These are the only jeans that my husband will wear. They're a comfortable fit and look great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Reliable Jeans In comparing Arizona jeans with other competitive brand jeans, I find that these jeans outlast the competition. a few pairs lasts a couple years of every day use and where other jeans rip at the belt loops and fray at the thighs, Arizona jeans seem to last longer. I enjoy the lower right side leg pocket as a cell phone holder and if I am doing some handyman work, the hammer loop and extra pockets are always helpful. All in all, a great pair of jeans.
