no the boots are not waterproof most times when a shoe or boot is waterproof it will say it in the description you will have to purchase some waterproof repellant spray to spray on the boots to keep the water from damage.I recamend that you should only wear these boots in the fall to early spring when there is not any snow on the ground because the bottom of the boot is very thin and not only is your feet going to get wet they are also going to be very cold unless you plan on wearing two or three pair of socks and then the boot want fit at all because the width runs a bit small
