Rated 4 out of 5 by Worked well for our needs Purchased two of these for our patio-entry doors. The draperies were lined and pretty heavy, and these did the job sufficiently. Something a little stronger could have helped make the pull of the weight better, but not necessary. June 23, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not well made These traverse rods are not as well made as my last ones, and the last ones weren't good, either. I think I'm writing off traverse rods until and unless they come back in style so that the manufacturing standards are improved. January 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rod looks professional Rod was not the easiest to install, but once up looks beautiful. January 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well engineered and easy to install. The left side draw traverse adjustable curtain rod was easy to install with excellent instructions. Having several braces along the rod makes the rod very stable and strong. The lock system for the braces are easy to adjust, making the rod level all the way across the total distance of the rod. Installation did not require special tools, making it easy for a homeowner to do the installation. November 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by after figuring out the instructions it fit great used to a block rod on both ends. this one has one. December 2, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by This product is difficult to assemble. The rod looks great and is very durable but the instructions for installation were difficult to interpret and understand. It took three times as long as it should have for two adults to install this correctly! The pictures were difficult to interpret and the instructions were vague. However, this hung my curtains beautifully so it was worth the aggravation! November 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Here super fast and up fast. This rod was here super fast and the quality was good and was easy to put up. July 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bali Heavy Duty One Way Left Traverse Rod Just what I ordered. Easy to put together, easy to install, very durable. I am very happy with this product and I give it a thumbs up!! June 24, 2015

Answer:
Not sure. The drapes I used are of medium weight, 84" long x 105" wide. I would say I expected the rod to be a little sturdier than it is but it is working so far. I purchased this rod less than 1 month ago.

Answer:
You would need to ask the manufacturer of this product about load limits for weight of drapes.
My supposedly "heavy duty curtain rod" was received damaged, almost bent in two. I returned it to the local JCPenney store and never got to take it out of the box or use it. Sorry.
