How do you keep the blanket from sliding off the bed
New velvet plush blanket, stacked on a top sheet and beneath the bedspread. The blanket manages to slide down and to one side even though it is between the other two. I've tried clipping the blanket to the sheet, but this is only partly successful. The blanket is useless unless we solve this.
Reply to SavvyShopper: It is tucked in at the foot the bed. What happens is that it slides down between sheet and bedspread so that it is all crumpled up toward the foot of the bed and is skewed off to one side. Meanwhile the bedspread slides toward the other side. So I have no blanket and my wife has no bedspread, plus the blanket is bunched at her knees and lower. I'm fairly active sleeper, which evidently provides the motive force allowing the blanket to magically slide between sheet and bedspread.
I'm a physics teacher, and this makes no sense to me! I did try putting the blanket on top of the bedspread, and it is somewhat better behaved.
