Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavenly Soft and Warm! I LOVE it! This blanket is so incredibly soft and cosy. I love it on my bed, to feel it at night with my hand, esp when it is cold out. I bought the color sage, and it is the perfect green - more like a soft, warm, pastel-ish sage green, rather than a deep-harvest sage green. As I recall, Penney's name for the color is "Ice Sage". I don't like this title, as the feel and look of the blanket are just the opposite of ice. I found this blanket at the store, but they didn't have the color I wanted in stock, so I needed to order it online. The ordering process and the receiving of the blanket were totally hassle-free. I'm even considering sending these out as Xmas gifts - I know my family will love them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pills and Fuzzes excessively Several years ago, I purchased a 100% polyester plush blanket from JCPenney, which has never fuzzed or pilled and is still extremely soft. When I purchased these ones, i expected the same results, as I continued to wash in gentle cycle and dry per the instructions. This blanket pills and fuzzes excessively! I spend a lot of time pulling out fuzzballs after each wash. My pajamas also have a lot of fuzz on it every morning and I have to lint roll each time. It is extremely soft and keeps me warm in the winter, however I don't recommend this blanket, unless you want to spend a lot of time getting fuzz off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Soft Bought this as a Black Friday deal, and for the price wasn't expecting much. However, I was greatly surprised! The blanket is so soft, great size for on our king size bed, and is very warm. Washed and dried this, and didn't notice any shrinkage or balling of fabric. Love this blanket... will definitely buy for other beds in our house!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Plush Blanket too thin The size of the blanket is extra large, which is very nice that they didn't skimp on the fabric. My disappointment is that the blanket is much thinner than my old plush blanket. I would have to sew two together to get the thickness of my old blanket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Soft Blankets My bed is sooo soft that I even bought extra matching blankets in order to make matching pillow cases. My kids love to jump into bed and make believe they are somewhere else. Thanks for making dreams come true

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and plush I've bought this blanket twice before, for myself and as a gift. Got it for my daughter this time. It's warm, soft and washes well. Love it. Got it on black Friday so it was an awesome value.

How do you keep the blanket from sliding off the bed

New velvet plush blanket, stacked on a top sheet and beneath the bedspread. The blanket manages to slide down and to one side even though it is between the other two. I've tried clipping the blanket to the sheet, but this is only partly successful. The blanket is useless unless we solve this.
Asked by: OlDdrBob
Reply to SavvyShopper: It is tucked in at the foot the bed. What happens is that it slides down between sheet and bedspread so that it is all crumpled up toward the foot of the bed and is skewed off to one side. Meanwhile the bedspread slides toward the other side. So I have no blanket and my wife has no bedspread, plus the blanket is bunched at her knees and lower. I'm fairly active sleeper, which evidently provides the motive force allowing the blanket to magically slide between sheet and bedspread. I'm a physics teacher, and this makes no sense to me! I did try putting the blanket on top of the bedspread, and it is somewhat better behaved.

Is the lighter blue really blue or greenish blue

Asked by: Jellybean
It is more blue than green but an odd color of blue, it is hard to describe.

What are the dimensions of the king size plush blanket. Like some of the others, I am thinking of using it as a bedspread on a queen size bed.

Asked by: Martha
Unless you want it to go to the floor, the queen blanket on a queen bed is pretty large. It goes down past the bottom of the mattress. We have our bed on a pedestal, so this would work for us. I originally put the blanket folded up at the foot of the bed but noticed the dog's fur was somewhat attracted to it. Maybe this will change as it goes through more washings. I don't know. I would not buy it exclusively for a bedspread if you have furry animals.
