Rated 5 out of 5 by Lightweight but warm. It feels great on my bed. I love this blanket. I have had one for two years and it has worn well. It is soft and very comfortable. My husband likes it too! I recently purchased two more to give as gifts. I highly recommend this item. September 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by A sure way to save fuel. Light weight.warm, cozy and pretty. Very practical way to keep warm on a cold winter night and not be TOO hot. September 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by perfect summer weight This JCPenney Home™ Bouclé Down-Alternative Blanket is a perfect summer weight bed covering. August 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best blanket ever! This blanket is light but packs the warmth and even my cat likes it. When I first put it on the bed I thought we would need another blanket but after the first night I realized the one blanket would be enough. August 30, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fabric is funky. Just received this yesterday. Big disappointment. Wanted to let people know about the funky fabric. The blanket is 100% polyester. When I opened it, I knew I'd be returning this because of the fabric. Best way I can describe it is that it looks like paper which resembles the cheap pillowcases that airlines use to cover their pillows but thicker and is somewhat plastic too. I don't believe that it breathes at all which is possibly why it's so warm....? It's also somewhat shiny which I don't like either. A dull shine. The size is really nice and covers the sides of the bed well but just can't get over the funky fabric. The blanket is somewhat thin but not as thin as I thought it'd be which is nice. If this blanket had nicer fabric that didn't have the above mentioned features to it, I'd keep it. Hope this helps some so that they're not as unpleasantly surprised as I am. Next time, I'm going to the store so that I can see it for myself. August 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great blanket I've had this blanket for 10 months now. When I ordered it I was concerned about the fabric because it had been mentioned in other reviews. When I received it, I did find that the fabric was different than most down comforters, but it wasn't listed as a comforter, it was listed as a blanket, and that's what I ordered it for. The fabric wasn't cheap or irritating to my skin and it looked fine, especially for layering under my bed spread. It's amazingly warm for how light it is. It's also stood up well to my two dogs jumping and bouncing on the bed for close to a year with no visible wear and no tears. I love this thing. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more if I needed them and will recommend it to my friends. Just remember that this is sold as a blanket and seems to me that's what it's intended for. It's not the same as a down comforter so don't order it if a traditional down comforter is what you're looking for. September 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable warmth, and looks great! This is the 4th blanket I have purchased in this style. I now have them in every bedroom in my house. They are lightweight, yet warm, wash beautifully, and look as nice as any quilt, if used alone. June 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Blanket is warm enough and light weight I Love this blanket and it looks nice on my King-size bed without using a bedspread. It fully covers my mattress and box springs. It is great for the summer months and more. Light weight and comfortable which is good, as I have bad shoulders and the weight of bedding can be very painful. May 18, 2016

Answer:
I tuck the corners in at the bottom and it is plenty large enough for that, but do not have a platform bed.

Answer:
Probably, but not more than a few inches, so it would come un-tucked easily. Just don't buy this product if you're actually looking for something warm...

Answer:
It would depend on the exact depth of the mattress. The measurements of the king size blanket are 104" x 90".

Answer:
I found it to be generously cut on my bed. Of course, you would have to buy a king size blanket. This is more of a quilt than a traditional "flat" blanket. I simply fold mine at the foot of my made-up bed. It's lovely enough to be seen.
