Rated 5 out of 5 by makes the bed more comfy gives the bed a little more comfortness, with the new mattress pad February 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by JCPenney Home™ Classic Mattress Pad looks nice. I bought this Queen mattress pad on sale plus a coupon for $10 off. As we are waiting for a sale on the Queen mattress we have in mind, we have not used the pad yet. But it does look very well made, as with all the products I have bought from JCP. The pad should last for years if you protect it with an old sheet before putting on the fitted sheet, as I always do. July 30, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by good quality but a little bit on the expensive side I was looking for a king size matress pad and no doubt this have a good quality given for the price i paid and i hope that this will last me many years to come. I spent a little extra to protect the matress i have spent an investment on. March 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by California King fits my water bed I still have an old waterbed. It is hard to find waterbed sheets and mattress pads without going to specialty stores. I tried this JCPenney Home Classic Mattress Pad in the California King size. It fits! It is in the washer now. I will post a picture of it on the bed even though it has not been washed yet. I like that this mattress pad goes on the bed easily. The last one from the specialty store was so tight I had to have my husband put it on for me. Then it ripped. This one seems to have a better material around the sides. It is a light fill and that is good for me. October 24, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by not bad Not bad for the price but could use use filling. Fits nicely & well made too. January 21, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by You get what you pay for. This was difficult to review. While the quality itself was fine, I myself have never really purchased much online before and have always had a chance to see things in person. This is one of the thinnest mattress covers I've ever seen. I guess the question becomes what is your purpose for purchasing. If it is for a child's bed when to add an extra layer of protection it would be a good move. If it is for an adult bed to add comfort, cushioning, and/or protection I would not suggest purchasing this particular one as yourchoice. The thickness is not much better than a regular sofa throw blanket. I hope this helps you out. August 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product has great features. Excellent length on all sides after fully covering my mattress and mattress pad. Thicker and softer than I thought it could be. Exceeded my expectations in all areas. August 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I needed for new bedroom suite I am very pleased with this item. I had looked several places for it and this was the only store that offered to order it for me. Yay!! August 22, 2016

Answer:
I don't believe that this mattress pad is waterproof. I wasn't looking for a waterproof pad, so I'm sure that this is just a regular pad.

Answer:
No, I have a protective mattress cover which I had to purchase when I bought my mattress. to cover warranty or for an exchange. they say if the mattress gets soiled you cannot exchange it, voids the warranty. but the cover is padded nicely.

I've had several mattress pads in the past, including one from Serta, and the sides ripped pretty easily.

I have owned this one for many years and I am now just buying a replacement. The sides are strong but it's the underside that started getting small rips over time.

Mine is newer so I really can't answer about how it will hold up but the sides are very thin and I do worry about them holding up.

Answer:
I would say they are as expected. It's not tight on my queen bed so I have not stretched them but it's the type of material you would expect. Probably nylon/polly. Hope that helps! We have been pleased with them.

Answer:
The sides haven't torn and we have been using these on our twin XL mattresses for about 5 months. It is a dual twin king bed. The sides seem sturdy enough and they have deep pockets.

It is a thin stretchy fabric, I haven't had mine very long so I really don't know how the fabric will hold up as it is very thin.

the siding is an elastic nylon i think. it's mesh so is expandable. by the way, this is NOT pillowtop. I viewed this as a mattress protector more than anything else.

Answer:
It's a sort of sheer stretchy fabric. I'm very happy with the pad; it has a generous fit (mine was a King) and the quality is quite good, especially at the price. I would highly recommend it.

the gusset is very reasonable in expansion - i also wash Whites in hot water but i dry on low. I've since replaced this pad but not due to shrinkage only due to true padding.
