Rated 1 out of 5 by from Far from "extreme" Bought this frame over others because it was supposed to be very sturdy and one would think it would last and stand up to the test of time. With its thick metal and brackets but when I first received the Queen size frame it bearly held itself together on its own. everything was very loose fitting and i had to physically screw it to the box spring so it wouldn't fall apart but after that it worked OK. That is untill recently a little over 1 year later the legs and wheels are bending and twisting inward destroying the box spring along with itself. Not worth the money paid . So now without any kind of warranty against failures offered liike you would think something listed as extreme would have. now I'm out a expensive boxpring and this expensive yet extremely poorly designed frame but now IV got to find at least another box spring and maby build my own frame that will last this time because I can't afford to keep throwing money away like this on junk that doesn't last but a year of one person weighing 235 sleeping on it. Not worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from California King size. Good price when on sale. The assembly instructions are wrong. They say to insert the cross members at a slant then turn in to try to lock into place. No, no, no. It took me along time trying to do it that way and it still was not right. Wheels bowed. I took it apart again entirely and inserted the cross members exactly straight down until the locking mechanism locked. You can hear it. Everything was solid and sturdy. Almost took it back, but now we are happy we bought it. Been with Penneys for almost 40 years and very little problems let alone ones that they don't stand behind. I should get paid for this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality for the price We were very happy to see the quality of the bed frame for the price, very sturdy, relatively quick and easy to put together and I like the locking rollers so it is easy to move if you need to! I would definitely recommend this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from waste of money I purchased 2 of these bed frames. Both of them had 1 small woman sleeping in the bed, and yet the legs on the frame of both beds bend under. There is a bad design flaw in these frames. The legs are not attached properly. The other queen frame I have is 20 years old and still very sturdy. I am very disappointed and upset at the amount of money I wasted on these. Both were broken within 6 weeks of setting up. What a waste...save your money...they are NOT sturdy...they are NOT heavy duty...they are a complete waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not What Pictured I received this frame and when I went to put it together, I realized it didn't have the extra center bar that was pictured. It said on the directions that the full size doesn't come with it, but no where in the product description online does it say this, if it did I wouldn't have bought it. You also cannot put this together with just one person you need help and you need a headboard and again no where in the description did it say that and the reason I bought it was because I don't have a headboard and didn't want to buy one, so now I'm left with this frame that I can't use until I buy a headboard that I didn't want to do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It helps to be an engineer I was trying to assemble this bed frame; the "illustration" sent was so vague as to be pretty much useless and the directions even worse. Went online to manufacturer to see about better instructions. No. Got phone number, called. Closed for the day. So if you work for a living (unless you work at home), you are out of luck. Left a voice mail message. NEVER replied. Not even to say "idiot, this is the way to do it". After about 2 hours of putting together, taking apart - voila! However, the edge covers they give you so you don't scrape against rough metal edges - pop off after about 20 minutes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish I had not purchased My husband is very handy yet it took him almost all evening to put this frame together. My husband weighs 185lbs Once put together he sat at the bottom of the bed and the socket holding the rolling wheel bent. I wasted my money.

Just to clarify.......this frame DOES contain the middle support bar, correct? (Full size)

Asked by: DebJ
My bedframe was for queen size and did have the middle support bar. This frame has the four corner casters, but the middle bar didn't have a middle caster - only a center "foot." My box was missing the end cap for that foot so that it could reach the floor - I tried to use an old caster from another frame but it didn't fit.
