Rated 4 out of 5 by Indymom Rug for entryway
I've bought JCP rugs for years. The number one reason is that most of them are machine washable. However, after a while, the rubber backing tends to disintegrate. They still tend to last a few years. I've yet to find the size and color selection JCP offers anywhere else.

This product is very good quality. It goes through the washer and dryer beautifully. We have hard wood floors and it does not slip or roll. We are more than satisfied.

Rated 3 out of 5 by bookworm2012 Good for price
I bought this rug in the largest size, 8X10 in Antique Blue. Because I have pets, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an area rug and this one was a good compromise between price and style. The picture online is pretty accurate, though in my room the color is a little darker. The color is very saturated and luxurious. I like it a lot. This rug earns only 3 stars from me because there appears to be a seam (looks like they sewed 2 smaller rugs together) in the middle. I thought at first it was just a wrinkle, but after a few weeks it's still there. You might be more satisfied with the quality if you order a smaller size. Bottom line, I would buy it again because the color is nice, the price is right, it's soft, and it looks great in my living room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrisShopsAlot Blue Rugs with Border -- Love Them
This is the third time over the years that I have purchased this rug. I have used this style and color in all my kitchens, in various sizes. They are attractive and go with my kitchen theme. The backing is non-skid so they stay in place, and they hold up well in the washing machine. NOTE: If you have the new front-loader washing machine, the backing should last for years; if you have a top-loading washer with agitator it's best to use the gentle cycle because my last washer managed to chew up the backing after a couple of years (especially if my vacuum cleaner had already torn up the backing when I got careless). Set your dryer to a medium or lower temp so you don't dry out your backing. I've been keeping house for 47 years and this is the rug of choice for me.

Just what we needed to replace a white shag rug in my husband's bathroom that was always dirty. The russet color is vibrant and the quality is good. Although the other rug was thicker, this one is equally as soft. It was pricey. Have not washed it, so cannot comment on durability.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed Poor Quality to what they once were
These are the same rugs that I have had for years and have really enjoyed them but they began to show wear and needed replacing. I was excited to find that Penney's still had them. When I received them, thy were not of the same quality that I had originally. I was disappointed to find the construction was not the same and they were no longer plush like the originals. They were cheaply made and I could find something of the same construction for a lot less at other stores. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dhbear excellent quality rug
This rug is beautifully made with a soft but strong rubber backing that keeps it solidly in place. The top shag is deep and looks exceptionally well in the area for which is was purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappySocialWorker Just want I wanted!
I ordered this large area rug for my living room. My home is mostly all laminate flooring - which makes it cold and noisy. This new rug is perfect. It doesn't slide on the floor. It makes the room more cozy and absorbs some of the noise. The color was exactly what I wanted (dark gray) and it coordinates well with the rest of my decor. I vacuum it with a stick vac and that works great. I've also had good success in blotting up spills. With coupons, I was able to get a good deal! Having it shipped saved me the hassle of transporting such a large item.
