Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing Like a Warmed Bed to Crawl Into I've only had this on my bed for one night...last night and it was wonderful! I have always used a heated blanket but decided I'd try the heated mattress pad this time. This one was highly rated and on sale so I decided on it. It is so soft and comfy even if the heat is not on.....but with the heat on last evening it felt glorious. My feet and all the way up was just toasty warm. I turned in down to the number 1 after I was settled in and that kept me warm all night. My two dogs sleep with me and they like it, too! Don't hesitate especially if you find it on sale. Those cold nights won't be a problem with the sherpa mattress pad heat under you.....talk about being relaxed!! I look forward to crawling under the covers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our old heated mattress pad died... After about 12 years, our old Biddeford heated mattress pad finally died. The old mattress pad was a plain quilted one, so we decided to upgrade to the sherpa pad. It certainly is comfortable to lay on, however, my husband, who likes the bed hot when he get in, does not think it warms as well as the old one. I think it does just fine for my taste. Hubs is a cold natured person and I am warm natured. For the comfort and warmth this mattress pad gives I recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfy Bought this heated mattress pad and it has been wonderful since day one. The sheppa padding makes for a very comfy sleep even when the heater is not needed so this is a win win situation either way. Living out the country, I usually order on line and JC Penny is one of the best stores I order from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Mattress Pad I love this mattress pad, the heat is gentle, not like others I have used that were too hot at the top of the bed. I am so glad I bought two, so I would have a spare. I love the thinkness of the Sherpa so comfy. You will not go wrong is buying this mattress pad even with the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! This is a great product, it's super soft and keeps you warm without making you feel like you're sleeping on a heating pad. The dual controls work well so the husband and I can control our own sides of the beds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very happy with purchase Mattress pad is exactly as described, cannot feel any wires, is plush and king size fits deep pockets mattress
Date published: 2016-10-23
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much more comfortable than others I've never understood why some manufacturers (this one included) think putting the hard plastic connection piece ON the surface rather than the end of the pad makes sense. We tossed a perfectly good mattress pad because of that, but the thick "sherpa" top totally disguises the connector making this one very comfy, cosy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heating Blanket, The description on the website is incorrect. Had to return item to the store and exchange. People order online so the don't have to get in their car and drive to the store. Fix this issue please. Regards Scott Sustar

The controls are long enough to go under the bottom of the bed, coming out at the top to sit on nightstand.

Answer:
Yes. For the Queen/King size pad you get 2 separate controllers for each side of the bed. I put the wires between the mattress and box spring and had plenty enough wire left to place remotes on nightstands that are directly along side of a Queen.

Answer:
Yes, we have the king-size pad and the cords easily reached our nightstands and are right where we can reach them/see them when in bed.

Answer:
On kingsize bed with 2 controls - each wire attaches at bottom corner, and are approx 128 inches long (120 inches=ten feet). Plenty of wire to place the controls anywhere on my nightstand with more left over.

Answer:
The cords are 13 feet long. Its long enough to run under your bed to the connector on the pad. The other cord is 3 feet long so you can connect to the outlet and the controller can rest on the night stand.

Answer:
Yes, except as our bed cover does not reach to the floor, I wish that the control wires were slightly longer so as to not have anything showing on the floor. Also, the cover does tend to bunch up a bit, nothing uncomfortable, but I like really smooth sheets, no wrinkles, etc. Otherwise, a good bargain and we use often.

I currently am looking for a reasonably priced waterproof or resistant electric mattress pad. With the sale currently I like this one and the idea that you can't feel the cables. I won't change it in the summer and would like it to be water resistant at least.

Since the Biddeford Sherpa Heated Mattress Pad is machine washable, it is safe to say it's waterproof.

Answer:
I have a regular King mattress and this pad fit with room to spare. It wasn't snug at all and even the sides seemed as if they would accommodate a thicker mattress (I have a Tempur-pedic which is fairly thick). I hope this helps!

Answer:
Unsure about a Cal/King, however, I purchased for a queen size bed and there is a lot of 'extra' for my thick mattress.
