Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from SpotClean ProHeat vs. Professional Carpet Cleaner - 1 DAY AFTER A professional carpet cleaner came out to clean the areas of the house that are still carpet -- upstairs, stairs and master closet. The landing stair was my biggest problem area because our new canine family addition likes to occupy it to stay out of everyone's way and have an overview of her surroundings. I'm so glad to be able to share this photo, because after the professional carpet cleaner left and everything dried, I was not pleased with the landing stairs. The next day, I purchased the BISSELL SpotClean ProHeat model. This picture tells the story. I am NOT, in any way, affiliated with BISSELL. This is just a random homeowner that was shockingly surprised at how well this little tool worked to clean up what the pro left behind!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from hose will rip this is my third bissell portable carpet cleaner: little green and two spotcleans. each time I had to replace it due the plastic hose ripping close to the cleaning attachment. I contacted the company this time and was advised to take it to a service center but the wait for repair was 3 wks. so i bought a new one. cant be w/o this with 4 cats. For spotclean the defect in design is that you have to pull the hose tight to get it to snap into the tool holder. this stresses the hose and then it rips when you use it. For this new one I am leaving the hose loose to avoid future rips, I hope. I do love how this machine works however. I can get anything up from my carpets that the cats can deliver. I use it on upholstery and bed comforters too

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Not what I expected Not what I expected. I bought a cleaner with a heating element to keep the hot tap water hot. Which it did not. was cold within a few minutes. I bought a cleaner to clean upholstery and carpet inside our boat and cars plus the couches and chairs. The Machine leaked badly, I thought it was from the dirty tank not being seated but it was coming out of the vent in the housing. The deep cleaning tool sprayed sideways, it didnt matter how much pressure I used. It still sprayed everywhere except where it was intended. a couple times hitting me in the face when I was cleaning a vertical surface. I had to hold my free hand next to the tool to help direct the cleaning solution to the area I was "trying" to clean. When i held the 3" tool above the base, it would leak out of the connection to the hose. The hose is too short, but I expected that. I am disappointed in this machine as a whole. I do like the compact design and it was easy to put together and fill. The brand name Bissell used to mean something.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Not Worth The Money Hose has ripped in 3 spots near handle after about 6 times using it. Spent hours trying to get water to extract, Thought it worked until the next day when I got up and all I could smell was dog urine. Started to reclean (already mad since its not cleaning correctly) and finally figured out that there wasnt maximum suction going on due to the broken hose. All that urine & soap say in rug the whole night. Used a BUNCH of duct tape to get the job finished. WASTE WASTE WASTE of time and MONEY!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Leaks dirty water The machine is less than 1 year old and is not used that often. Now it is leaking dirty water every time we use it. The entire dirty water tank emptied on cleaned carpet. We check and both tanks are seated and all rubber stoppers are closed. This is the third one we purchased and we do not have trouble with the other two. I would not recommend this now based on the above problem. After reading other reviews it seems to be a design flaw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Hate this product. Waste of money I needed to replace my Little Green machine and after shopping around, I decided on this one. Upon receiving the product, I noticed that, for its price, Bissell really skimped and quality and key features. First, the caps for the tanks are just rubber plugs that are difficult to get on correctly for proper operation. Second, the attachments spray out the sides of the brush, not down onto the carpet, so I end upspraying everywhere I don't want. Third, the placement of the tank openings are set in a place so that all of the water cannot be drained from the tanks. Everytime I use the machine, I get the urge to just throw the thing in the trash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Excellent I have had the Bissell spotclean proheat for about two months now. I love it! I use it in my car, carpets, furniture. It does a great cleaning job! The cleaning formulas that come with it are just as equally great. My only complaint is that the hose is very stiff and hard to move around sometimes, otherwise is a very great purchase!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Poor suction, did not work well overall We bought the proheat pet machine because after our new puppy had an accident on the rug our cat decided he should urinate on that spot as well. The machine gets the spot very well but the suction is not very good and does not suction the water back very well. We have lots of dirty water in the tank but the rug is still very wet.
