Rated 2 out of 5 by Looks good.. if you can get them up I am only barely recommending these SOLEY based on how they they look once they're finally up. But getting them up was not the easiest process. First of all, they are truly 31" long, as opposed to 30.5" which is standard for other blinds when the packaging says 31". Usually blind manufacturers automatically subtract the 1/2" when cutting blinds. Not these. They are the exact length indicated which prevented us from being able to mount them inside. Secondly, the blinds are not easy to pop into the bracket. We even thought the instructions showed the bracket upside down (since popping them into the upside down bracket was much easier). We did finally get them in (with the bracket right side up. as pictured) and even with an outside mount, I like the look. However, it took forever. The trick was pushing the blinds more straight back into the bracket inside of pushing upwards or downwards or however the instructions say to do it. January 3, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Looks like everyone is cutting back on value to keep the price the same. I bought 5 of these blinds about 3 years ago and they were wonderful. Very custom looking and material was very heavy with a 7" valance. I decided to buy 3 more last month. The price was again great, but what a surprise to see the difference in quality. We just installed them yesterday. These 3 are made of flimsy, light material that almost looks like Chinese rice paper from a distance. I almost had to laugh. The valance is 4". The rows are closer together also. I got the camel color again thinking they would match but the light weight material is so thin that the colors look different/lighter on the windows. If you have a beautiful home you don't want these. If you have your first apartment and are looking more for price and good size selection then yes this is okay. The pictures below show the difference in valance, closeness of folds and the thinner material that shows the strings through which makes it look like rice paper. November 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy with purchase. First to explain my ratings. Five stars because they are exactly what JCP described them to be. Quality = not high, but for the money I'm more than pleased with them. Value = well worth the money paid. Meets Expectations = very much so. Durability = By the looks of the construction and materials they'll last many years with proper use. I installed five of these as inside mount and two as outside mount. I'm a mid-fifties female DIYer, and found them super easy. DO look closely at where the workings of the shade are (so as not to place brackets in their way) and the brackets (to make sure they are right side up) before you screw them in. Once installed they function perfectly allowing me to have all open at the exact same height, which is very important to me when having five windows in a row. Please note my photos are of a room that is very much a work in progress. May 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Purchase I purchased 8 of these shades for our upstairs bedrooms and playroom hoping to darken it up and help keep the temperatures down in the heat...mission accomplished. It's pretty dark upstairs now, and the temperature is much more bearable. 2 of the windows get direct sun for about 6 hours in the early afternoon-evening and 5 get direct sun for about 3 hours before the sun goes down. The shades were easy to install, easy to operate and look great. The only con I have is that they don't have the light blocker material on the back. I've actually looked online to see if I can add my own, which is doable. I think these are probably the best home purchase I've made through JCP and I am looking at purchasing more for the rest of the house when they go on sale again. June 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product for the price I needed to replace some huge 2" wood blinds. They were just too much for the room. These are a great option. I got the camel color, which is a nice, light beige/khaki. Not too yellow, not too green. I'm not sure if they have changed the "white netting" on the back that so many have complained about. The back of mine had more of a white fusing that is completely fine. It looks solid from the back and not cheap. The camel filters the light well and would allow privacy, but are not black-out. They look crisp and clean and were easy to install. I wish they had been cotton duck fabric instead of polyester, but they seem like they'll wear well and hang nicely. So pleased with this purchase. See pictures. February 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by inconsistent product I ordered 3 Savannah shades in Goldust. I received 2 in the correct color as per order, one instead was of a different color. I was able to have them re-ship new shade in the correct color as per original order. The biggest problem with this product however is the consistency. See my pictures below, one shade is of good quality with a wide top valance, the second one is much cheaper construction (yet same product!) they made the valance very narrow, and also the pleats are cut narrow. I decided to keep only because we installed in different rooms. So, buyer beware! May 29, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love These! So Classy! Having read the reviews I had concerns but I ordered them for the 5 windows in my living room. They look gorgeous. For the money you cannot beat them - it's a classic look for a fraction of the price of custom roman blinds. November 25, 2014
