Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, well cushioned barstool We purchased this barstool as extra seating for our remodeled basement. My husband is 6' 3" & I am 5' 5" tall. Both of us find the barstool comfortable & well padded. My husband is leggy enough that he can rest his feet on the floor while sitting on this & I can rest my feet on the wooden front piece. We intentionally selected this because it is NOT leather. With a 9 & 11 year old, these are easy to clean using soapy dishwater. The price was an unexpected surprise during a recent family & friends discount day. Having gone way over budget on the remodel, we appreciated finding these comfortable and sturdy barstools at such a great price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hoping replacements are better Loved the chairs, the look, the height, etc were perfect. Unfortunately, in the front corners of the cushion you could feel something sharp poking up vertically under the covering of the seat (this part is already assembled and was not an error in putting the chair together). We took them back to the store, reordered and are HOPING that the new ones do not have the same issue. They were great about the return. My recommendation is really a maybe - we will see.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value Not easy to put together. Luckily had my own set of allen wrenches with a handle, otherwise would have been very difficult. Once together however, very sturdy. Small hidden rip on one corner of one seat where it meets the wood. May have to return one out of 3 I purchased.

How close to black does this look?

Would it go well in a kitchen with black appliances and touches of dark brown in the granite?
