Rated 5 out of 5 by easycook Nice size for entertaining
I have always wanted a larger covered pan to make entrees for entertaining. I love the larger size and the glass cover. Easy to clean. Will have to see how durable the non-stick coating proves to be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jtinMich Have not had the pan that long but appears to be a great product.
I have always loved Calphalon and this is no different. The pan appears to be sturdy and great for large items or as a fryer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gingerbakes Heavyweight & truly nonstick!
I needed to replace a worn out nonstick skillet. I thought it was a 13" diameter skillet, so ordered this one online. When I got it, I saw my old one was smaller. This skillet is extremely heavyweight. I've never used one this huge before! I initially inaugurated it by cooking some bacon in it. Then followed with cooking sausage patties.
I tried lifting the skillet with one hand to pour off the bacon grease. The skillet was so heavy, I couldn't tilt it. I then used both hands on the handle. But still couldn't tilt it enough to completely pour off the grease! i forgot about the lift handle on the opposite side of the skillet.
If you've never used a skillet this huge before, it does take some getting used to. But it truly is non stick to make cleaning it up a breeze! This skillet will outlive me!

I've been a devoted Calphalon customer for a several years now. I absolutely love their products. The skillet is wonderful. Easy to clean. Heats evenly. True non-stick. It is really big and deep! It makes all of my "one pot wonders" turn out delicious. It has a very long handle and another on the side, which is a major plus for transferring. The lid seals nice and tight. My only complaint is that the skillet is REALLY HEAVY!

I was just online looking for an extra large frying pan to replace my beloved frying pan that I've used almost every day since I bought it 8 years ago. It's such a great pan that I didn't want to settle for something inferior. The only thing that matched the size and quality of my pan was this one, and that is because it's the exact same pan. It pretty much never leaves the top of my stove.

When I met my first Calphalon product I fell in love because I found the products to be beautifully designed and structurally sound. Therefore when I finally decided to splurge and welcome one of the Calphalon products into my kitchen, this pan was it. I bought this pan several years ago and it is still my favorite "go to" pan for all of my stir fry and "one dish" meal needs. This pan satisfies aIl my needs for stove top cooking and even some oven baking. Additionally, I chose this pan because I like cooking in a skillet but I needed it to be large and not shallow like most standard skillets are designed to be. I am in love with this pan because it is quite durable, easy to clean and cooks all my foods evenly. It's a home run whenever you can combine beauty with functionality. Hurray!

Rated 2 out of 5 by stepheneng Not up to Calphalon standards.....
I was given this pan as a gift last Christmas. When I replaced my range with a new flat-top electric, I found that the pan "wobbled," so that part doesn't touch the cook-top. Over high heat, it gets worse. When the pan cools down, it returns CLOSE, but not all the way, to a flat bottom. I returned the pan, and Calphalon was great in sending a replacement--which does exactly the same thing. Part of the bottom is NEVER in contact with the stove and, with high heat, it gets worse. Reluctantly, I believe there's something wrong with the model. I have other Calphalon pans and swear by them.
