Stainless steel with Bakelite plastic handle. Hand wash. Imported.

Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm very happy with it! This kettle is much lighter than my last Chantal tea kettle which I consider a plus at my age (almost 70). It's easy to fill and has a tight-fitting lid. If properly secured, there's no chance of it coming off while you're pouring. I can handle it with one hand, although I usually use two because of the angle at which you have to pour. The whistle is loud enough that it will never boil dry. May 28, 2016
