by nbkuz92 Not as Advertised
Advertised as cotton/polyester denim. Actually is 100% polyester. Shipped in boxes that were barely sealed and were not packaged with any protective plastic covering. Pulled tham straight out of the box. Bottom line: it is hard to give this a good rating as it is not what I expected. Customer service is working on a resolution. I may repost if we come to an agreement.

Got these for my 2 teens for Christmas. 2 days after there was already a hole in the fabric I had to repair. That gave me the ability to see just how thin the fabric is. Before buying I read "denim" in the item title so I assumed a heavy weight fabric. It's NOT. If it's double stitched you can't see it on the outside and some seams are already showing signs of distress. My girls are not rough on these bags, so I wonder just how much use we'll get. The other problem I have with them is the zipper pull. The pull is metal & not covered. I just got new wood floors & at times when you move, or go to get up, the pull scraps the floor. A piece of fabric over the end point so the pull could be tucked under would have prevented this problem. Other bags we've had have had that feature. The chairs are big & comfortable. Not sure how much you could really put in the side pocket since once you sit the pocket is flattened. Ok, so I'm a little disappointed. It was about the best price I could find & that's why I bought them. I guess it's true, you get what you pay for.

After researching bean bags for a month, I finally decided to order these chairs for my 5 and 6 year olds. I ordered the pink and red (their favorite colors). The kids love them! I hate them! They are both bleeding color all over my childrens clothing and socks (they are now pink instead of white). I fear that if the chairs continue to sit and be moved around on my cream carpeting that the carpeting will be turning pink as well. The tag on the bean bags state "spot clean only". If you open the bag the beans are loose. The only way you could wash the cover is removing all the beans. I can only imagine what a pain and frustration this would be. Unless JcPenny customer service has a better idea, I will be returning these ASAP. My children will be very disappointed since these were an early Christmas gift from their grandparents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by peesha325 Good Product for the price
I bought two bean bags for my children that are 5 and 3. After doing over six months of research on bean bags I decided to order the 105" bean bag from JC Penny’s because of the price and free shipping. It states on the website to allow 4 weeks for processing and 1 week for delivery for a total of 5 weeks. I actually received this item in 2 weeks (this may change as we get closer to the holidays).
PROS: The bag actually has a side small pocket which will be nice for my children to put their books in. It is large enough for my 5 year old (who is tall for her age) and still will have plenty of growing room. The color is darker than what I thought it would be. I thought due to the price it would be more faded. (I hope it does not bleed)
CONS: The bag smells like a warehouse so I am hoping that it airs out since it is spot clean only. I might have missed the fabric type on the website when placing my order. It states that this is denim bean bag but it is actually polyester fabric. The fabric seems thin and I am hoping that it will hold up. The bag is filled okay I would guess-timate 3/4 of the way full. I would have like it to be a little fuller. I am concerned that the inside will not hold up and the bag will be flat very soon.
Overall I would state that this is a good product for the price that you are paying, especially if you are looking for a child. I know my children will be semi hard on the bag so I will update to let you know how ell it holds up

Rated 4 out of 5 by beanbagfamily Ordering two more
Just about as good as can be expected. Fill amount seems good. Size is larger than expected. Good for kids and average adults. Im 6'2" and anything smaller would be too small. Kids love them. colors are ok. The blue is a little light for blue denim but not enough to complain about. Good value. Was delivered ahead of estimate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NCMom Denim Bean Bag Chair
We ordered the 105" beanbag chair for our toddler, and he loves playing around and sitting in it to read books. Unfortunately the blue fabric is not colorfast, so his clothes turned blue and our light colored carpet has a blue tinge where the chair sits. There is no lining so you can't take the cover off and put it through the wash. We will most likely be returning the blue chair and getting a color that won't bleed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by domermom The product is just what I was looking for!
This bean bag chair is made of a durable denim material. I ordered it in pink and was so happy to see that it was a really pretty, soft pink color. The material is also washable which is perfect for something used by kids. My daughter absolutely loves reading in it and watching TV. It was much more reasonably priced than some of the bean bag chairs I was looking at. It's a great value for the price.
