I've had Hoover Windtunnels for many years. It is the only vacuum I will buy. However I don't like the blue color of the new one. I currently have a dark green one that needs replacing and may have to buy something else.

I've had a bagless vacuum for many years. I'm not sure why I switched over. But, I absolutely HATE them! They're dirty, time consuming and just a major pain! I've wanted to go back to a bagged vacuum for a long time. I finally just decided one day that I had had enough with the mess and hassle of my current one. I have cats and a parrot and there is always hair and bird food on the floor. I'm constantly cleaning up after them and it doesn't take long to fill a bagless. I got online and started researching. This vacuum had so many good reviews and it had features that I liked, so it was easy to make this decision. I had forgotten how well a real vacuum works. The suction is strong. It has so many features. The dirt indicator lights, the self propel action, the height level that takes it flat so you can get under beds and my coffee table is amazing! But, for me the best feature hands down, is the BAG!! I will NEVER own a bagless vacuum again! I just love it! :0) I will definitely be a Hoover customer from now on...

I have bought several of these self-propelled vacuum cleaners over the year,s about the only self-propelled cleaner out there that really works good.
we have had some belt and cable issues when the cleaner gets a few years on it but all in all i would buy it again.
For the price you can not go wrong, try it you will like it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ron71 Not as good as our old one
We bought this vacuum a month ago, and it just doesn't seem to work as good as the old one we had. The old one was 8 years old, and was a Hoover Wind Tunnel bagged self prepelled model. This one just doesn't seem to do as good of a job vacuuming as the other did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mirra I liked that!
I have one at home, but I would happy if someone could explain how to use, cause I couldn't take off bag for cleaning and on the side there is many other parts which is I couldn't take it for using. Thank you very much.

Brushes would not turn from the beginning. Took to authorized repair recommended by Hoover, they said was a defaulty belt and was not on for motor to propel. Used it twice since then and again, the brushes stopped working. Only used this thing 5 times in total. Slide to switch to self propel won't slide over. Not a lot of suction. My green bag Windtunnel 2 lasted years and want to get another one of those if still on the market. This one stinks. And I need to vacuum right now because pet just got fleas. Now what do I do? Paid $180.00 for this thing. No way to lift it up to move and the attachments won't stay on and connected. Almost lost in the heat vent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dave in Houston A real work horse!
I bought my first Windtunnel Self-Propelled vacuum about 13 years ago. When my son got his own place a year later, I gave him my vacuum and bought a new one. Two months ago, the agitator brush wasn't turning well after I put on a new belt. Since the machine was about 12 years old, I decided to get a new one rather than getting it repaired. After I assembled the new vacuum, I thought I would put another new belt on the old vacuum. It works like new again! It turns out that the first belt I out on was the wrong one. I don't know how long it's going to last but I have a brand new one to take over as soon as it 'calls it quits'. There are two features that I love about this machine; 1) self-propelled, and 2) HEPA. When pollen season comes, my sinuses appreciate the clean, filtered air after the floors have been cleaned. And, at 67 years old, I appreciate the self-propelled help around the house. It's almost fun to vacuum!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Allnighter2 Hoover Windtunnel Vacuum
This is the second Hoover Windtunnei vacuum, self-propelled of both forward and reverse that we have owned. The first one is about 16 years old and still going strong. Both are identical except for the color(blue instead of green) and they changed the location of where the tools are stored. It still has great suction. The new one seems more zippy than the old one. This is a great machine that everyone likes to use. All the old accessories fit the new one. The old one is at the repair shop for a minor tune-up before we donate it to our church.
