Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk - Poor Design & Quality We have had this model for 2 years. We had to return the original one to Cuisinart under Warranty for replacement after 6 months of use. The 1st one began Leaking Water all over the counter whenever water was added to the tank! The replacement unit lasted a little longer before having the same problem of water leaking all over the counter, plus the hinge on the lid broke a couple months before the water leak started! Cuisinart obviously has a major design defect and/or production quality control problem on this model. The kicker was that we had to pay shipping for the 2 warranty replacements – probably should have just bought a different brand coffee maker after the 1st one broke and avoided the hassle. Sure hope the 2nd replacement unit lasts longer. We’ve Never had another coffee maker leak water! Suggest you buy a different model Cuisinart or a different Brand Name coffee maker. Our other Cuisinart appliances have been excellent so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to set and makes great coffee I have the one like this but with the thermal pot. I love it and intend on buying this style too. Wish JCP would get the one with the thermal pot. The style is so easy to set and simple to understand. I totally disagree with the one review about the "cheap" plastic. The coffeemaker is well made so don't let the plastic on it detour you from making a purchase. Love everything about this Cuisinart coffeemaker and believe me I've bought several style and made the comparison. Great sale price too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed in the way it's made I was so excited about my new Cuisinart Coffee Maker, but unfortunately the excitement did not last. The spring on the water door broke just two weeks after I purchased the coffee maker. It made great coffee but not well made. I took it back and went back to my old coffee maker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coffee maker with very nice features. I originally purchased the Cuisinart with the thermal carafe, but it did not keep the coffee hot. With this model, the coffee brews very hot and stays hot. I love the design; it goes well with my other appliances. A full pot makes a generous 14 cups, which is more than any that I have seen. Plus, you can control the strength for regular or bold. And there is a 1 to 4 cup setting , if you want to make less.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the product overall Cuisinart makes great products. Previous one started leaking after 4 years. The new one works great, brews fast, and the features are great, nice product, but when you lift the cover to add water, moisture from prior use runs down the back and water gets on counter and the lid requires holding back with one hand to pour water in. Overall though not a bad coffee maker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good to the last drop I've had Cuisinart coffee makers for years and have never had any trouble, the same goes for this one. The only drawback is filling the water, I can never quite get the last 1/2 in the reservoir without spilling it but that has more to do with the size of the coffee pot being larger (14-cup).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I do not recommend this product Have purchased Cuisinart coffee makers in the past and was thoroughly satisfied. This one, however, fell apart after bout a year of use. First the springs in the lid, now a rubber gasket is falling out where the coffee drips down.
