by JCPShopper Great pants, inconsistent sizing
I bought a pair of these pants in store and loved them. Purchased two more pairs of the exact same pants online and found that the sizing varied greatly. One pair was fine. The other had a 1.5 inch difference in the waist and did not fit the same. I will be returning one pair. Love them, but try them on before buying.

The quality is good, the color is sexy and subtle at the same time depending on what you wear. I only wish they had it in slim leg, nonetheless they are Red Hawt! :]]

I am 65 years old. These slacks had people looking and asking how to purchase similar slacks. They are so nice and feel so comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sandy15172 Great career pants!!
I have several pairs of these pants and love them! I need a straight fit in the hip and thigh areas, and these fit me just about right since I'm not at all a "curvy fit". (I finally figured out that I need to avoid curvy and relaxed fits like the plague, as they don't work for my body type at all). I would have given these pants 5 stars if they came just a tad bit higher on the waist. I prefer to leave the lower cut pants to the younger girls, as they only give me a "muffin top". I came back here to buy more and found (as usual) that my size is either back-ordered or not available. JCP you need to ramp up your inventory on these pants!! Also, please offer them in more colors like: khaki or tan, dark grey (for winter months), and a lighter brown (such as Lt Cocoa) for the spring/summer months. I have found no other career pants that fit me as well as these--and believe me, I've done lots of searching and shopping. Please make more effort at keeping these in stock and providing more colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nolakb Nice pants, but too long
I ordered these pants and the suit jacket to match. I ordered the Short. Still too long. Returning and ordering petite. Nice pants, just didn't fit right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by musicgrl2468 Really nice fit
I recently purchased these in brown and navy in a size 2 short. It is very hard to find pants that fit me as I have a long torso, shorter legs, and thicker thighs. These pants fit the bill. I had tried a size petite in the store and those were super tight in the thighs, but then I remembered that you could sometimes get pants from JCP.com in a "short" length instead of petite. Glad I went online, since they didn't have any "short" lengths in the store. These pants honestly fit like a glove. I am 5'4 and 135lbs and they are more form fitting but in a flattering way, and they actually have a little stretch to them which is really nice. I only have two tiny complaints: 1) They are a little bit too long for me. If you wear heels with them, you should be ok, but if you wear flats and are shorter than 5'4, they will probably drag a little on the ground. 2) The material is very lightweight and while that doesn't really bother me too much, I hope they hold up well in the wash...I guess time will tell. Overall, though, very nice career pants. I would definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Martchhare Good quality but very long inseam.
I have been buying Worthington pants for years, and I have always found them to be good quality. These are no exception, BUT for some reason, they are now making the inseam much longer than they used to. I am 5'4", and have always been able to wear "short" pants. The inseam used to be 29 1/2 inches. NOW the "short" pants have an inseam of almost 32 inches. WAY too long to wear with work shoes... unless you wear pumps every day. The petite inseam is now 29 1/2 inches, but the crotch seam is also shorted in petite pants, so that makes them unwearable for me. According to an internet search #assuming it's correct#, I'm LITERALLY the exact height of the average woman... but I can no longer wear ANY pants that Worthington makes without having to pay extra to have them hemmed. :# Other than this issue, the pants fit great, and are of the usual good quality. I hope they will reconsider this change in the future.
