Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall great blinds I was a little skeptical when I ordered them for 2 windows. But after receiving them and installing them I re-ordered for my other windows as well. Sceptical in the beginning because of the fake-wood look -- I wasn't sure if they would look terrible cheap or not. But they don't. They look pretty real. Weight-wise they are not ultra light but also not heavy -- right in the middle which gives a good feel when pulling them up. Installing was very easy -- three sturdy brackets (and 2 brackets for the not-so-wide ones) hold the blind's top portion which clicks easy into the brackets. I had very expensive blinds before and their mounting system was more cumbersome. And they broke after 6 years. So, I am confident these here will likely do at least the same time. Since mine are so new I have no idea about how easy it is to clean them but I can at least tell that it is not difficult to unclick them from the mounting brackets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blinds for a great price! Our sun room gave us a little too much of a good thing. The afternoon heat was unbearable. Our answer: blinds that could allow light in while blocking the direct sunlight. These blinds were perfect. They were a great price to begin with, and finding them on sale was an extra bonus. We are VERY pleased with the quality. Not difficult to hang, either. We even managed to shorten them slightly so that the length was exactly the right size

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It doesn't pay to save a few bucks I was very excited to find these blinds in the perfect size I needed and thought they looked really nice. We purchased 6 of these for our living room and dining room and have had them up almost 6 months. They worked great except when we turned the long plastic thing to open and close them. We would hear a grinding noise as it was turning. We tried to be careful when turning so as to avoid causing that noise. However, eventually one of the blinds wouldn't open and close anymore. My husband took it down to investigate. We saw that the rod inside that turns was plastic and had broken in two. As much as I liked these blinds, I'm going to try and return them because I fear this will happen to all 6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference What a difference these blinds made in my master bathroom. I originally had shades, but wanted privacy while still allowing light into the bathroom. The blinds were perfect size and fit for my window. My window is 46" wide so I order two 23" wide blinds. The length was perfect and needed no adjustments at all. The detail in the blinds is really pretty. Very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These can be shortened - huge plus for me I got these on a pretty good sale, and the price couldn't be beat anywhere else. JCPenney also had the largest range of sizes I could find in this price range. It was great to not have to get anything custom-made or cut. The thing I was the happiest about that I didn't see in the description before ordering is that there are instructions for shortening the blinds (by removing slats) in the instruction/installation guide that comes with them. I ordered ones that were about a foot too long for some windows since they were such a good deal anyway. They look okay without shortening them, but it's great to have the option. I've only had them hung up a couple weeks, so I can't speak to durability yet, but I'm happy so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE My husband and I love these blinds. We were super nervous buying them sight unseen but they had a lot of recommendations online and from friends. With the half prices and discounts that were going on at the time we decided to just go for it! We bought them for 5 windows in our living room, 3 in our master bed, and then went ahead and bought them for our bathroom and second bedroom as well! They look great, are super easy to install and keep out the light when you want and let it in when you want! So So Happy with these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and affordable I have these blinds in every room in my house. They look great and the price is very affordable compared to other stores. The only complaint is the size is a little off but does not take away from the look of the blinds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from better than expected the horizontal part of these blinds are made of a hard expanded foam that seems to keep its form well and are quieter than the hard plastic ones I had become used to.

Answer:
No. I think it will not fit. If maybe it was 1/4inch bigger, then it would work fine.

Answer:
The blinds are 1/2" less in width than the size stated. The actual width of the 35" blind should be 34 1/2". It may be tight, but should fit. I bought the 31" and the actual was 30 1/2".

Answer:
In my opinion I would say yes - all the blinds I have ever gotten from JCP have been smaller than the actual dimensions (for example I just measured my "23 inch" blind and both the headrail and the slats are only 22.5" wide. But you should just order one and try it and you can always return it if it doesn't work. (I've never had problems returning anything to JCP either).

Answer:
Yes, these can be cut to length, just keep in mind that when you cut the blinds, the manufacturer's warranty is voided. If you have a window size that can be tricky to fit, we suggest considering custom blinds for the perfect fit. I have linked our selection of custom blinds below for your review:

No, I would not consider the shades room darkeners but the do a great job blocking morning sun. I absolutely love these shades. They look good and they look much more expensive than they actually cost.

Answer:
Yes, according to the manual you could do that. I didn't because the length was exactly what I needed, but I did see it on the manual that you could make it shorter.

Any cut to width blind will work with whatever measurement you provide for inside mount. Ready made width blinds cannot be cut.
