Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Don't Know Why I Waited So Long to Buy One I bought this to use for mixing nutter nut squash soup. This is the BEST little mixer! I gave 4 stars only because the mixer headcase off twice when I was using it. Nothing happened other than I had to reattach it. I do wish there was an on/off switch as small hands make it a little difficult to operate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use. Minimum effort. Great product. Been using this product for about a week. So far I'm loving it. Easy to use, comfortable grip. Didn't give it 5 stars just because it's only being a week. Would recommend though. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! This product makes life easier. It makes great blended soups, puddings. It is easier than using a regular blender and is much less noisy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works, but for how long? I keep looking for a stick hand blender that's solid state, and from the metal immersion portion on the bottom one would think the internals would be all metal as well. Instead once one separates the motor from the lower half, we find plastic fins that are part of the locking mechanism, and other internal plastics. How long before these strip out like my last two? This is a planned obsolescence made to fail. I don't relish having to buy yet another in a few years because of this design. Also, the provided cup's a rather thin plastic. Still, it does the job, and we liked the inclusion of a silicone lid for the cup. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soups on I primarily use my hand blender for making soups. It is getting a lot of attention, as I live in Iowa and currently it is -1 actual temperature, and -17 feel like. I have used the blender for smoothies and shakes as well. The only reason for not giving it a five star rating is it is a bit heavy, and you have to keep the button pressed the entire time you are using it. This purchase was worth my hard earned money! I had wanted one for years, but I live on a budget, so I was excited to save enough for it. Enjoy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Product So far we used it once when making a container of butternut squash soup. This soup had several ingredients including squash, carrot, apple, celery and sweet potato. After the boil down the hand blender was used to blend all ingredients to a smooth consistency. Very impressed with the options of two speeds and used both. Other thing we liked was the ability to separate it for cleaning. Very well designed and quiet in operation.
