Rated 1 out of 5 by from Look like Old Lady pants, make you look hippy unless they are skin tight/size too small! I bought Petite size 10. I have no idea why this should be, but the pockets of these pants are attached into the inseam causing a BUMP on the upper outer thigh right below the hips. It made me look hippy and fat where I am not fat! This occurred in the modern fit and the curvy fit both. You can see it even when they are hanging on a hangar. The WAIST is TOO HIGH, even in the petites (I'm 5'3") which is never a problem for me in petites. Actually, usually petites are too short in the rise. These look like old lady pants and are not flattering. I don't want skin tight dress pants in order to get rid of the "bumps" from the pocket attachment. How disappointing! The OLD Worthington pants from a few years ago were wonderful. Those were slimming, slight flares, nicer material and they fit perfectly all the way up and down. And, you could actually find SHORT lengths in the store back then. I need misses SHORT and none of the stores carry them within 50 miles of my home. Penneys: Bring back the old Worthington dress pants, flared, and with a shorter rise, and try to stock some SHORT lengths in your stores!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice....but Very Long! They are well made and stylish but they are definitely too long. I'm 5'2 and 135 lbs and my preferred inseams are 30-31" when I wear flats and 33" with 4" heels. Like other reviewers even with my heels they touch the floor. I do sew and can hem them but that kind of defeats the purpose of buying clothes in lieu of making them myself. I ordered multiple pairs from JcP to compare inseams- and they were very inconsistent. That being said, they feel and look fabulous if your willing to do alterations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What the heck happened? I've been wearing these pants for the last 10 years. First off I've never had to wear a plus size in this brand. I wear a 18 or used too. I bought another pair online & they fit but were a little tight. I decided to try the 18w, which I couldn't even button. I however can button the 18's of my older pants I bought at beginning of year. So basically my old 18's fit but the store 18w don't. I ended up buying 22w that fit but are big in the weirdest places. They didn't have a 20w. I agree with other ladies as the cut in the thigh area has gotten smaller. What??? The kicker is I've been losing weight. This is not helping my mind set. Haha. I have been a jcp shopper for a long time and the sizing in everything is simply way off now. There is no point ordering online. You could wear a XL in something & another thing you need plus size. Seriously this is a problem. I've bought two pairs of the same pants, different colors, & only one fits. Figure that out??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best work trousers I've tried so far! I'm 5'2" and 190lbs. I got the size 16 petite short and they fit like a glove. They don't feel tight when I sit, move nice and hardly wrinkle. The fabric is comfortable and breathable. Love these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits great but too long I am the typical pear-shaped 46yo & love the curvy-fit slacks. The only negative is the length. I am 5'5.5", weigh 135lbs & wear a size 4-6 (depends on the fabric, oddly), yet the length is insane. As I am not equipped w/ a sewing machine to properly recut & reattach the binding nor have the extra $$ to pay a seamstress, I have to wear 4.5" heels just to keep from stepping on the fabric & they STILL drag against the floor. Luckily, I work on mostly carpet. It would take a woman 5'8-10" to wear w/o the need to hem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Work Pant I recently discovered the curvy fit of Worthington. Normally I have to go up in size to give my hips room in pants but with curvy, I had to go down a size and could possibly go down one more but I didnt want the pants to be too fitted as they are for work. This is the second pair I have purchased. I suggest getting them in multiple prints and colors. They are perfect for every day office wear. The fabric is comfortable and breathes well. For reference, I am 5'7 at 175 lbs and normally wear a 12 but in this brand I wear a 10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE these pants - Worthington Curvy Fit I am a petite gal, 4' 11" size 6. I always have to hem my pants but NOT with these. I get the 6 short and they fit perfectly. I must have 10 pairs of these, I've gone down 2 sizes and no matter what size I end up these always fit. They wash and dry without wrinkles and they do not shrink. I wish I could get them in a lighter color but they always sell out fast! I highly recommend these, they are very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Pants I have this style in several colors. I always have a hard time finding dress pants that fit both my waist and hips. If I purchase them to fit one, it doesn't fit the other. However, the curvy fit pants fit both my waist and hips perfectly! If you are a curvy girl like myself, you will love these pants as well, I'm certain!

I need to know if these pants are loose fit.

I recently ordered the modern fit pants and the waist and hips fit but it was tight in the thighs . it looked like bell-bottom pants. Therefore, I want to know if the curvy fit pants is more loose than the modern fit.
Asked by: deeedee
Yes Curvy fit is looser

Misses vs. Short vs. Tall. is it just the inseam length?

Is the difference between Misses, Short and Tall just the hem length or are there also proportional adjustments? I'm not short, I'm 5'8", but I don't wear high heels, so the "Short" 31-inch inseam would be better for me. Will the rest of the pant fit like a regular Misses size?
Asked by: sqpeg
I'm 5'7" and I wear short because I also do not wear heels. They fit perfectly and I definitely have curves.
