Just received 2 pair. One is med width and the other is 3E. The medium is narrow and too tight. The 3E feels good. Haven't had time to walk in them yet but they feel great and were delivered a day earlier than promised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Weffer Would be awesome if toes had room
Cost: a good value.
Style: Walkers tend to look so ugly, but I think these shoes look good.
Fit: I wear a size 12 in Rockport, Asics, New Balance, Teva. My toes are a bit scrunched in these size 12 Propet shoes.
Comfort: with the rubber soles, they are comfortable to walk in. I do a lot of standing, walking, and squatting and they beat hard-soled shoes any day. I wear them every day for work and the only discomfort I experience is in the width of the toe box where my toes are scrunched together. Fortunately, the discomfort is minor if my socks are not thick.
Longevity: I've only had them for 5 weeks, but I hope they will hold up for a while.

The shoes are a great value in that Propet shoes from any other retailer cost much more than these. Yes, they are the same quality as the others I purchased from the other retailers.

My husband works at a casino where he has to stand straight for 8 hours. He has flat wide feet, is a little overweight and he distibutes most of his weight on one leg. I bought him several name brand shoes for his feet, some of them costing over a hundred dollars, but none of them worked. He would come home almost in tears because his feet and calves hurt tremendously. It was so bad that when I tried to massage his feet and legs, they were so tender he was almost in tears. He would limp as well. I bought him these shoes and after the first night, we both noticed a huge difference. He was no longer limping, and was ready to go out and exercise with me. Before the shoes, his feet were too sore to walk. I'm so happy with the shoes. He is free of pain, and I don't have to give foot massages, lol!! He wore this pair for about 8 months - day in and day out, before we had to buy another pair.

I've been shopping around for a new brand of *black* men's walking shoes for several months, since R****k seems to have discontinued the model I've been wearing for the past 15 years. No one else I could find had one that 1) is in my size (I wear a smaller size, but have wide feet.) 2) is in my color (Don't tell me, "It's white, or nothing, man!") and 3) would work with my orthotics. These fill the bill. And if they also give me 2-3 years of wear, you'll have a steady customer.

As a big guy my feet hit the pavement hard. I need shoes that offer good support and cushioning. Style is secondary for me. These shoes have a good styling and appearance.

I have never owned Propet Life Walker Mens Walking Shoes before. After several days of wearing them. My feet don't hurt anymore from standing all day. These shoes are only available online at jcp.com, I will be ordering 2 more 1 in black and the other in white. These shoes might not be for everyone.
