I purchased this duvet cover very recently and have not yet used it, but I have laundered it. So I'm not yet sure how it will hold up. The quality of seams, fabric and construction seems fine. Although the fabric got a little wrinkly after washing, this is common for cotton. I hope it will look smoother after I have inserted the comforter.
The fabric has a very soft feel. The top fabric (printed side) is different than what was used for the underside. The top fabric has a very faint lustre, almost a satiny quality. I didn't want a lustre to the fabric of my duvet cover but this is barely noticeable.
My main concern is that the colors are a little off from what they appear in the photo. In the photo it appears that the neutral spaces between the color blocks are a powder/snow white. While the fabric used for the underside is a bright powder/snow white shade, the top of the cover's "white" sections are actually more of a cream or oatmeal shade. There is also a hint of green in the oatmeal color. This unfortunately gives the whole duvet cover a slightly aged/worn look and the color blocks don't pop or contrast as brightly as you see in the photo. And what I perceived as cobalt blue blocks in the photo are actually purple.
Finally, be aware that the shams have no border - they are just like regular pillow cases. In the photo it appears there is a 2-3 inch white border around the shams but if you look closely, you will see the photographer actually propped the sham pillows against larger white shammed pillows placed behind them (which are not part of this product set). So the shams you get are actually quite small and basic.
Overall, I am still pleased with my purchase and I like the style
of the pattern. But in retrospect I think the price is somewhat high because the appearance of the product in reality is not as good as in the photo.
