Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best electric skillet ever. This is the best electric skillet I have ever used. First of all, it is attractive to look at. It matches my new red set of pots and pans. The food never sticks and it cleans up so nicely. The white ceramic cooking surface is so sanitary looking and it's worth repeating that it never sticks. I'm going to give one to my daughter-in-law. Wonder what color she'll want?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, Non-stick (for real), Attractive, Affordable This skillet feels substantial and looks amazing. Even, accurate heat, cleans like a dream, and is beautiful. I've paid less for an electric skillet, and that is exactly why I needed a new one. The lid is heavy glass, the handles are wide and "lipped" to protect your knuckles from tapping the hot metal sides. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the cost This skillet cooks evenly and cleans up easily. The ceramic coating is great, so much better than tephlon in my opinion. I would recommend it as long as you don't mind fixing the lid first. The cheap screw for the handle broke so I had to get a replacement which was easy to find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect size for me and my wife Was looking to replace our oversized electric skillet saw this one JCP and it was perfect size for us. Not near as heavy and bulky as our other one and it works great. Would recommend this product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed - Looking for a replacement Had not used ceramic before. At very little heat it burns any kind of shortening around the round coil. It does not cook evenly across the bottom. It does clean up nicely. Very disappointed. Am looking for a replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Darn good If you are comparing electric skillets you might not notice that these units have different power ratings. This unit has 1500 watts, which is a lot. A lot of the more expensive ones dont have that much. Also the ceramic surface really is different. It does a great job browning food without burning it. I am really glad I bought this model.

can you fry in this skillet?like deep fry??

fried chicken?
Asked by: merlen
You can fry chicken in oil if you are willing to turn it over during the process. The pan is too shallow to allow a whole piece of chicken to be covered in oil.
