Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patio door window treatment solution l needed something to replace my 6-year-old vertical blind sheers which I loved, but were becoming dingy. They were the second pair I had purchased from JC Penney, but they no longer offer them. I decided to try the new classic track panels which I had seen at a friend's home. I am very pleased with them so far. They actually open and close more easily than the verticals and have a nice clean look. The only downside for me is that, since they are made of room darkening material, when closed they allow no light in at all during the day. I plan to add sheers on a separate rod to provide a hint of privacy and a softer look when the blinds are open during the day. I truly do miss my vertical blind sheers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great substitute for vertical blinds If you get these on sale they are a good deal. The product could be of better quality but it is sturdy enough to last a long time. If you get the small width it has 3 panels, large width 4 panels. They do allow some light to filter in (about 20%) and all panels can slide over to open to 1-panel width.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product did arrive pretty quickly.was less than acceptable. Product was cheaply made but I ended up getting it hung up. After I put all the panels on I noticed that one of the panels was different color than the rest, slightly yellowed. Since it is typically on a sliding glass door, is pretty noticeable. On top of that, the discolored one also has pretty large gold colored stain. I kept it and just covered with curtain as it would have been pain to disassemble it to and back. Am very disappointed though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product did not meet my expectations. This product did not meet my expectations due to the fact that I purchased a similar product a few years back by the same company however the construction was different. The previous construction had the convenience of changing out panels easily by disconnecting panel from Velcro strip. These (previous model) does not have that capability and the panels have a hard plastic connecting piece at the top that if broken or cracked, whole panel will need to replaced (purchased). Not as convenient or cost effective as the other model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from LIKE THE QUALIY AND DURABILITY WHEN OPENING THE PANEL DOES NOT MOVE EASILY ALSO DIRECTIONS WERE NOT GOOD.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These panels look so much better than the vertical blinds they replaced. I purchased this product to replace the vertical blinds covering our sliding glass door. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. Not only do they look infinitely better, they provide much more insulation from the late afternoon sun that shines directly onto the door. As far as durability goes, they seem to be well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install The fabric is nice and it covers our patio door wonderfully. I would highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most impressed I prefer panel tracks blinds to vertical blinds to cover my patio door. I think they look more stylish and make less noise. When I need to put the dogs out I only need to move one. They finish off the wall where the patio door is at. I put interesting valances above them for a more polished look. The only down side is that they are spot clean only. So every couple of weeks I check them. Not a big deal but with two dogs who look out the door I do need to make sure they stay clean. This is my second set. The first set last 20 years. We bought them from Penneys as well. We are replacing them because our old ones no longer match our new family room furniture. Penney's price is extremely reasonable.

when open, do all the panels stack behind one another?

Asked by: Randy
I got these shades but lost the instructions. Can someone explain how to line them up so they all stack behind each other? Right now I can only get 2 to go behind 2.

Opening

Do the panels open so light filters through? Wondering if the panels open like a vertical blind?
Asked by: pagirlhere
No, the panels do not allow light filtering. You must move a panel to the side to allow any light into the room.

still dont understand...

So if you order the wider option, there are more panels or the panels are wider? I want to cover a 72 in sliding glass door. Three 21-inch panels is only 63 inches of it... is the rest of the door just exposed?
Asked by: confused
There are 4 panels to cover a 72 inch opening. They cover our sliding glass door perfectly.
