Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ceramic insert cracked the first time I used it! I had an old Crock Pot I loved and was sad when the lid broke and I had to replace it. This looked like the next best thing and I was pleased to find it. However, the very first time I tried to use it, the ceramic insert cracked! What a horrible mess it made. I had recycled the box and packing materials and now can't return it to the store I purchased it from. I came to this website to buy a replacement insert only to find it is "not available online," I know now from the reviews the cracking is very common which is, I suppose, why the insert is no longer being made. But I am now out a lot of money for a product I cannot use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Help! I received this slow cooker as a gift last year and love it! I use it all the time as I work. I went to use it and after an hour I checked my food and it was cold! I turned it on and selected a temp and time and it immediately shut off. I tried several different outlets and it just won't stay on. Now what? It is not that old and Should have lasted several years [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this model!!!! I bought this crockpot t months ago. I work 12 hour shifts and start cooking when I leave for work at 5:30 am. With the timer, it turns to warm at the right time. Perfect for my family when they get home. Unfortunately, I broke my insert and the replacement is not available.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Digital is pointless, heating is slow I chose this unit because it was rated the best by Cooks Kitchen. It surely can't be the best. The digital display does nothing special. The temperature reading of the insert (at least cold, warm, cooking, preheat) would be an basic use of the display. It only heats from the sides so the center cooks much more slowly than the side; stirring it defeats the purpose. I could have bought one at a fraction of the price and got the same performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This crockpot has been my favorite wedding present we received! It is so easy to use, and contrary to other reviews, I've never had an issue with it taking long to heat up. I use it at least once weekly, usually more in the winter. It makes cooking for my family SO easy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns I set it for two hours less on low than the recipe and it still burned last night. I've thrown away multiple dinners. I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong or what but I've only had it a couple of months and I'm considering getting a different brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stoneware cracked I have had my Crock-pot for 3 and a half years and at first I really loved it. I noticed a slight crack on the rim of the stoneware last year but it still worked fine. Then one day I came home from work to find liquid had leaked out all over the counter. Seems like an easy fix, just replace the insert, except that the replacement stoneware isn't even available. If I could have just easily replaced the stoneware I would recommend this product, but now I have a crockpot I can't use and no way to fix it.

Yes, the lid should sit flush on the top of the Crock Pot lip.
