Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this Crock-Pot I bought this for my brother to replace one he dropped and broke. He made dinner for us a few days after I gave it to him and it works great! So convenient to have the hinged lid!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the lid Everyone loses a lid at a potluck. Da-da! This is the cure! I love the lid attached for this reason, though it is a little hassle washing it, it is so worth not losing the lid!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6-qt slow cooker I cook for myself and my 90 y/o Mom, this cooker is great for beef stew, chicken stew, vegetable soup and chicken soup. I just recently learned how to cook, and this is definitely a major help. All of the meals I prepare are one pot meals.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use! Great crockpot I really like this crockpot. The main reason I like it is because of the hinged top lid. I am a frequent user of crockpots and I find myself getting frustrated when I have to remove the lid and it drips all over the counter. The hinged top lid allowed me to easily access the contents of the crockpot without making a mess and allowed for easier access. As for the food itself, it has all been cooked very well in this crockpot. Everything has turned out absolutely delicious. The only complaint that I have is that I do not like when a crockpot does not have a visible timer. This crockpot offers a knob that you can turn the setting that you want for cooking. I prefer automated systems that countdown and then automatically switch to warm. Overall, though, this is a great crockpot and I recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Innovative lid design The crockpot hinged lid innovates by providing a hinged lid. I know longer need to find counter space to place the lid when I'm preparing, stirring or serving. The six quart allowed me to cook for my family of five. The food came out perfect by using the 3 settings. Ultimately, to be more innovative I would like to be able to program time and settings. Many of my recipes start with a time period on high then switching to a low setting. I cook these meals on the weekend so that I can be there to switch the settings. The hinged lid helps in that I do not to need to find a space on The counter each time I stir or serve. This saves me time in clean up in that I do not have to clean the counter each time. I am a little nervous in that the lid could break off and make the crockpot useless. A handle on the middle of the lid as well would provide the option of lifting it in the middle if the lid did break. All in all this crockpot serves the purpose of convenient meals and convenient cleaning. Eliminating the need to clean my counter from a dirty lid. I have received this crockpot free for a unbiased review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible design flaw I bought this Crockpot a few months ago to replace our old faithful avacado green Crockpot that lasted many years. I was excited to receive this and hoping to get many years out of it, but it broke! The black plastic piece that attatches the cooker to the lid- well the plastic on the lid side broke, so I can't use it without getting burnt! So disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hinged lid is great! My wife likes the basic Hi/Low/Warm controls rather than electronic and we both really like the hinged lid. Whenever we had company with our previous crock pot someone would drop this lid - I think we broke 2. This idea is good and works very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy and Good for Two People This slow cooker is smaller than most, so I'd recommend it for a two person household, or to use for serving a dish at a party. The hinged lid is fantastic, such a help when serving from the crock, especially if you are holding your own plate in your other hand. The crock itself does not come out when the lid is on, so you must remove it first. I would have liked the lid to sit back far enough to allow for the crock to be removed with the lid up. The look of the crock pot is nice and sleek. The controls are very basic, but easy to use. This is also a nice gift for someone just starting out, who doesn't need anything too fancy. I will be using this pretty frequently, but would prefer my larger Crock-Pots for bigger meals. *Note, I received this slow cooker as a sample to try it out and offer an honest review.
