Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the price Nice coffee maker for the price, has extra features...beeps when finished brewing, power loss memory, adjustable auto-off. Controls are a little confusing at first. Water fill hole is small but I am lucky enough to have the unit next to my sink and am able to fill the coffee maker with my faucet spray hose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good experance! First off I've had this a year, so I feel I can give a realistic opion of this maker. After the first 4 months the coating on the burner began to peal. By 6 months coating was gone. The filters are hard to find and expencive to replace. You have to pull in our from under the cabnit to put in water. The clock has no back light. The coffee started tasting bitter. I cleaned it as instrcted and in took over 4 hours to clean .. I have soft water so I know it should not have taken that long. After 8 months the pot started to leak both while pouring water into the unit and pouring coffee. THe next time it needed cleaned the cleaning light wouldn't ever go out. Also after 8months it began to take longer and longer to brew........Jump to a year in. I am now looking for a new cofee maker. Not worth the price. I'm very disappointed. I

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So bummed I have many cuisinart products that I love, so I was very surprised by the design of this coffee maker. The lid for the carafe, which is ironically labled as "hands free" actaully hurts my fingers to get off. there are 2 tiny tabs on the top of the handle in which you are supposed to use to yank this lid off. The tabs are small and sharp which make it very uncomfortable to remove. It doesn't just pop off, you really have to pull. I haven't seen a coffee maker like this ever. For the last 15 years all of my pots have had pop-up lids, not pop-off lids. Why this one doesn't I'm not sure. I acutally called cuisinart to make sure I wasn't missing something. Anyway, if you like the ease of a pop-up lid on your carafe, DO NOT get this coffee maker. I already returned mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Question about order I love the coffee maker. When I placed this order online it stated there was a $10.00 rebate to accompany this item. There was nothing in the packaging nor have I received anything in the mail. How do I get the rebate? Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lousy Customer Service I've had many coffee machines that lasted for years. This one lasted 6 mos. b4 it quit working all together. I Cleaned it as directed on a regular basis. When I contacted Cuisinart for service on their 3 yr Limited Warranty, they stated I had to pay them $10 on a credit card, then they would ship me a New Machine. Once I received the new one I was to ship back the old machine at my cost! Probably another $10. For the price of the Machine I felt these amt's to be a little high.

I have had this maker for about 2 months and it has to be one of the best I have ever had. I ordered the red and it looks great in my kitchen. The charcoal filter does need to be changed after 60 uses. Coffee tastes great, has some good features. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really Disappointing Coffee Maker I've owned the coffee maker for over a month to allow time to make an informed opinion. 1. Coffee pot leaks every time you pour. 2. Need more coffee to get a bolder flavor. My old coffee pot didn't need nearly as much coffee to make a good cup of joe. 3. It really is a pain to pour water into the reservoir if you are left-handed. I had read about this in other reviews and didn't think much of it, but it really is irritating. The water pours into the right side of the back of the unit, and the lid gets in the way. 4. Clock is not back-lit, so very difficult to program in darker areas of your kitchen. You can program it and you can pour a weak cup in the middle of a cycle, but other than that, this unit is a disappointment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a good buy have had 3 wks now. the enclosed brochure is easy to follow, not much to figure out. i programmed it & had good, hot coffee waiting for me the next a.m. - stays hot too for as long as you tell it. i like the gold-tone filter inside. nice looking on counter. the 'cons' might be that the dials could be higher up for easier reading/setting. don't really see the point of the beeping @ beginning & end (i know i just made coffee a few minutes ago, so why beep me?) water reservoir is kind of small in back corner - but these are minor issues once you use it a few times. i would buy again.

What temperature does it brew the coffee

How well does it hold its temperature once the pot has been brewed?

It does hold the temperature for the full 4 hours before shut off
