Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Love Love It!!! I don't write product reviews very often but my hubby insisted I write this one. We can't start our morning without a good HOT cup of coffee. So when our old faithful coffeemaker bit the dust, we went through several new ones, returning each mainly because the coffee simply wasn't hot enough for us. Then we found this one. We've had it for several months and both agree it is hands down, our favorite coffeemaker ever! It's so easy to use. Just set your cup under the LIGHTED dispenser and press the lever and your cup is filled with steaming HOT coffee! The removable water reservoir is very handy and clean up is a breeze. And no carafe to deal with makes it pretty near perfect. We've had no issues with it thus far and are more than satisfied with our purchase. If you want a coffeemaker that's convenient and easy to use and brews HOT delicious coffee, you won't be disappointed with this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely coffee maker I received this as a birthday gift from my son. Love it! I still need to learn all the features but as a serious coffee drinker, I can honestly say, this makes one of the best cups of coffee I've had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST COFFEE POT EVER I had the older version of this and loved it. It lasted me 11 yrs and we used the heck out of it, traveled and wagged it around with us and it never failed us till a few months ago. I got a kureg thinking it would be great but I hated it. Coffee never tasted the same and it began to be really expensive. I got rid of the kureg (however you spell it) and got the newer version of the cuisinart like I had before and OH MY GOD.... the coffee is better than the older version and it is so nice to stick my cup under it, touch a button and poof.... I have my coffee and not big pot to wash. I don't think that I will ever have anything else. And this type (the no caraf / coffee on demand) is the best idea since sliced bread. LOVE IT. It is a heavier made machine so it lasts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great product. The only negative would be the coffee gauge level sometimes doesn't register correctly. We have not had the coffee maker for a long time so durability we can't judge but I'm sure it will be fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When you're tired of your single server coffee maker (as I was) I would give this coffee maker 5 stars save for the electrical cord. It's about 2 inches long. The 'instructions' state this is for safety purposes so people won't trip over it, etc. Consumer safety run amok? I think so. I'm not planning to walk on my kitchen counters anytime soon. It should be at least 12" long so it might at least have a chance to reach an electrical outlet... thus making it the little electrical cord that could. I had to go out and purchase an extension cord. A 2 footer is the shortest one I could find. I now worry that I might end up tripping over my own 2 feet. One might even say Cuisinart is a bit short sighted in this respect. That being said the coffee maker is fine. I decided to use it for a couple of weeks before doing this review. I bought it as it can make up to 12 cups of coffee (6 by normal mug standards), has a gold, permanent filter that will save a lot of money over time and doesn't have a pot. I also liked the programmable, automatic turn off. A good feature for us well seasoned, forgetful types. It takes a little practice to get the right measures of coffee to make to your own taste... but I think I've finally got that formula brewed up. So, all in all, it's a great coffee machine and has met my expectations... except for the aforementioned shortage. If Cuisinart wants to send me a reimbursement for my extension cord I'll gladly accept it ;-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overrated and overpriced I haven't even had the Cuisinart Brew Station for 6 months and it has already begun leaking. I previously owned a competitor's model that lasted me 4 years. I am so disappointed and the process of returning the entire unit to the manufacturer is just too much of a hassle - not to mention the additional expense.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaking dispenser The valve where the coffee is dispensed started leaking on the 6th day. The leak wasn't a small drip here and there, it was continuous until the reservoir was completely empty. I had read other negative reviews regarding this same issue so obviously this is systemic and a design flaw. It's unfortunate because it made great coffee the first five days and this particular type of coffee maker (non-Keurig, on demand) is hard to find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best coffee maker I have ever purchased! I have used several coffee makers over the years. Cuisinart Coffee on Demand is my favorite. Not only does it make great coffee, the coffee stays very very hot because there is no decanter. Also my favorite feature is you can choose up to four hours auto shut off. The other coffee makers I have seen have two hours max auto shut off. I didn't think I would like only one cup at a time but I love it. Great when there's company too. They just help themselves and no more broken decanters. Cuisinart has always meant quality. What more could you ask for?
