Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful accent for my bathroom! I just finished a complete remodel of my main bathroom, and was looking for a curved rod. I was ecstatic to see that JCP not only had the dark curved rod, but a tension rod as well. The rod helped to complete the look I had in mind for my makeover December 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shower Curtain Rod Easy to put up and looks great. JCP was the only company that I could find a Bronze color rod. Love it! December 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Curved Rod I loved how spacious this rod makes the bath tub. My husband is 6'4" and he can def tell the difference. More arm room, lovely nickle finish. November 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by If you haven't tried a curved shower rod, this is the one! I gave the Maytex Curved Smart shower rod in Brushed Nickel to my boyfriend who loved it. Said the extra space was amazing as well as super easy to install. So I couldn't get one for me fast enough, even paid shipping, which I typically don't do. Especially after I received a different brand from another seller and found that it was permanent, which I did not want. He put this one up for me in minutes. He was right. The extra space makes your shower experience amazing and it looks great! September 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our shower curtains are perfect. They are just as described, and they were easy to install. We will definitely recommend to friends! October 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by easy to install I installed this product in about 15 minutes so very easy to install and works great, hold up to even a teenagers abuse September 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not easy to install, but useful once installed. I was disappointed that this was not as easy to install as advertised. It was difficult to install, even with 2 people. We almost needed a 3rd person, just to help hold it in place while installing. I think that part of the reason it was difficult is that one end piece does not swivel as much as the other side (this also makes it impossible to install it symmetrically). Once we finally got it installed (after several failed attempts), it is proving to be very useful. It does create more space in the shower. One side is further back in the shower than the other because one end could not swivel far enough, though it seems to be very sturdy so far. It would have been easier to just install a shower rod that did require screws, but it will be nice to not have any holes left behind in the wall if I decide to take it down. December 3, 2014

We open our curtain from the right side and would like the smooth part of the rod on the right, so that the hooks glide easier.

In case it makes a difference, the length of the rod would be 58 inches when installed.

Answer:
It gives you about 6 more inches. It really makes a big difference. We had shower doors and removed them and put up this rod. I used the double hooks for liner and decorative curtain and it looks really nice and makes a big difference in being able to move around. We love it.

Answer:
I don't know exact inches, however, I went from a standard straight rod to the curved and the difference is amazing! The curtain used to get in the way but now I don't even come into contact with it. The install was very quick and easy. After going curved, I'll never go straight again!

My shower is 41 inches wide and I need an adjustable rod as I don't want to try to drill my new tiles. I can't find a rod that is the right length and I really like the reviews on this rod.

Answer:
I know it says 48" but the way it comes packaged, I believe it would work for 41". I would say it's worth a try. I'm sure they would take it back if it didn't fit.
