by JeanneP Looks Great but not for long!
We ordered the entire collection, the crib, changing table and dresser. The crib and the dresser are of solid construction, the changing table is very cheaply made. The downfall of all of the pieces is that it scratches very easily and we haven't even used it yet. Just moving the furniture my husbands wedding ring dented the crib just from picking it up. But all in all, it does all look very nice!

by Katlyne0906 LOVE IT!
Beautiful Crib! We love the cherry! The wood is just a little on the soft side and I wish that it came with caps for the screw holes, but the picture does show that it does NOT so I really cannot complain. Excited to put our little girl in it when she arrives!

After lots of research we decided on the "Christie" coffee finish crib and "Heirloom Collection" coffee finish dresser. They match beautifully. The crib doesn't take long to assemble. My mom and I put it together in an hour. However, it does scratch fairly easily so we just keep a wood pen handy to fill it in. It is lightweight and easy to move but I don't think it is flimsy or unsafe. We have the "Christie" antique white finish crib for our older daughter and love it as well. The color is more of an off white. But again, a beautiful bed. We've had it for 3 years and it is holding up well and converted to a toddler bed easily. And the trundle drawer is a great addition as well. Great for storing blankets.

I really think for the money, this was an excellent purchase. Yes the surface will scratch, if you work at it, but I put it together by myself while 5 months pregnant, and didn't put a scratch on it the entire time. I checked out a similarly priced item at Target and found the finish would flake off with the slightest amount of pressure from a fingernail. This seems to hold up much better to my abuse:) I guess we will see when baby comes! I also ordered the conversion rails- WHICH COME SEPERATELY- and they appear to be usual adult bedroom furniture quality and match the rest of the wood well. I feel that the option to convert this crib plus the included trundle drawer made this quite a value.

First when I tried to order this crib online (coffee color) I was unable saying "out of stock" after calling customer service I was told the crib was discontinued but I was able to order it but it would take 6 weeks. The crib arrived within 1 week which was great!
The quality for the price is great however we were completely disappointed with the under the crib drawer. The material for the drawer doesn't match the crib nor is it wood material; it's small and looks ridiculous. If you notice the picture it shows the bed skirt covering it and that's for a reason. That would work but if you have a newborn the bed skirt is not long enough to cover the silly cheap drawer.

I ordered this crib in Coffee. The color swatch online makes it look like a very dark brown/black finish, so I thought it would match the espresso finish I chose for a dresser from another brand. It didn't. The Coffee finish matches Cherry finsihes from other manufacturers. It is very pretty, but be aware if you are using furniture from other lines. JC Penney was very understanding and helpful with making multiple returns to find a matching finish.
The crib arrived very quickly. It was quite easy to put together and we had no problems with the finish scratching or the wood denting. The screws needed to put together the trundle drawer were missing, but we are just going to buy them at the hardware store. The toddler conversion piece comes with this crib, which adds to the value. This crib feels incredibly sturdy and I have no concerns about the quality. The screws on the front are a bit unsightly. I knew they would be there from the pictures online and other reviews and I am also going to try to find furniture caps for them. This is not a dropside crib, which I know many people like for ease of use, but there have been some safety issues with dropside cribs, so I am happy that it is a fixed crib. Overall, I think this is a great quality crib, especially for the price. It looks really cute and I would recommend this to a friend without hesitation.

I received this crib the other day and my husband put it together without any problems. The overall look of the crib is beautiful-I ordered it in coffee. The fact that you can see the screws doesn't even bother me. I don't like the fact that there are a couple of holes in the legs of the crib that I guess will be used when it is converted. The trundle drawer is a little silly seeing as it doesn't even attatch to the crib. Either way, it can be used for storage or you can just throw it away. I am completely satisfied with this crib for the price and I can't wait until I can put my bedding on it!

I bought this crib after searching online for weeks. It dawned on my that JCpenny's sales them only online. The crib is very cute and easy for my husband to put together. He has no construction skills so it took him about 2hours. I got the color coffee and am very pleased with my purchase. Hands down JC PENNY had the best prices. I even liked them more than walmart!!! And it was way easy to find a matching dresser because you can get any color. The crib is very sturdy and looks high end to me.. I ordered the crib and dresser on a tues. and received both by that SAME FRIDAY. FAST shipping
