I was looking for a dress for a semi-formal wedding. I couldn't find anything in the stores so I searched online. I found a few of them I liked on JCPenney.com but was afraid it wouldn't arrive in time for the wedding. I checked the availability in stores and didn't find any in my area. So the day before the wedding I went to the largest JCPenney in my area and found one of the dresses that I had liked online. This wouldn't have been my first choice -- probably my second or third. However, I tried it on and absolutely loved it!!! It is very forgiving in the midsection where I carry most of my weight. My arms are somewhat flabby so I stay away from sleeveless dresses, but this showed the tops of my arms that are more toned. I got so many compliments on this dress - I was even told I looked "gorgeous!" LOL I am a size 4, but that dress was on the display so I tried on the 6. I decided to buy the 6 because the skirt was a little bit longer, but if I had nicer legs, I would have bought the 4. And another thing -- the dress is so comfortable! Since it is spandex, I didn't worry about how much I ate at the reception!!! Oh, and by the way, it was on sale, plus an additional 30% off for using my JCPenney card, so I didn't have to feel guilty for spending money on a dress I might only wear a few times.

This DJ Jaz dress turned out to be the perfect buy for a semi-formal wedding. The fabric was well draped, yet forgiving, with lovely rhinestone accents at the shoulder and wrist. Wearing it as a tunic with fitted dressy black slacks was the appropriate choice for me, and I got lots of compliments! The sparkly accents meant that the only jewelry I needed to wear was a pair of rhinestone earrings. Someone thought that the wrist accent was a bracelet! The sleeves with slits from shoulder to wrist gave it a dressy look that was not too revealing.
If you happen to be young and fit, this would work as a super fun dress to dance in!
