I don't know if the pockets aren't deep enough or what but they lay funny. My son even tried the next size up and the pants were visibly too big but pockets didn't lay flat..stuck out at his sides.

My son is tall and long waisted with big thighs. These are the best fitting pants we've ever found for him. He's a pre school teacher so he's up and down on his knees all day long and has a good amount of room. They wash well and come out of the dryer wrinkle free.

This item needed ironing after washed on the permanent press cycle and delicate cycle drying. Arrived wrinkled. Significant unpressed appearance remained after first trying in dryer only, and then after a wash cycle and dryer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dandyduds Comfortale and complementary!
These D-4 Comfort Khaki Relaxed-Fit Pleated pants have done more to keep this 84 year old's waste line to 34 where it has been for 30 years. It's so much quicker than any diet or exercise regimen, and it's relaxing and enjoyable. All you have to do is remove the labels and pull them on! Wearing a belt with them is optional.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DockersFan1 One pair ripped at the pocket on the first day
I bought two pairs of Docker D4 pants. On the first pair I wore the left pocket seam ripped 3 inches. I am hoping that it was a bad sewing job for this pair only. The second pair has survived 2 days of wear. I did take a look at the pocket seam and it appears to be single stitching. It may need to be reinforced with double stitching since pockets are used constantly.
Another issue I have is that the pants do not have as much "relax fit" as the previous D4 pants I bought. That is the reason I rated it an average fit.
