Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was much too tight for me I thought I could wear slim fit pants alas not to be.The pants were too tight in the legs now I know I can't wear slim fit.The classic cargos are too loose what I need is something in between such as the D2 which seems to have been discontinued

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent athletic trim pants Finally JCPenney carries the athletic trim Dockers pants! Great fitting pants. I bought one of each color after I found my size. Fits nicely in thigh while still allowing me to put a phone and keys in my pocket and sit down. Tapers down to ankle nicely. I am not a fan of skinny pants, and these fit well while still allowing movement. Best pants I have found without getting tailored.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality Not There Pants came with small hole in them on the seem. Others in the order also had sewing along the seems that was not strong. Will return and hope they improve the quality of the stitching in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YES! YES! YES! I was skeptical about getting these because I am a bit muscular. I did not want the typical relaxed fit that has been the norm for people of my size and stature. I am glad to say that these pants are a great fit. I love the fact that they give the room that are needed for my thighs and the waist is true to size. The tapered leg is new to me because I have tried to have as much room as possible. Its amazing that there is actually a stretch feature sewn into the pant that you notice almost immediately. When I squat or kneel, I do not feel the telltale pull and bind of other pants. The Athletic Fit is something new to the market and it has been a long time coming. So long Relaxed Fit and hello to Athletic Fit. Where have you been all my life?! These were so good that I purchased one of each color. Now they are my daily pant for work, play and everything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally!!! So, I'm an "athletic" guy, i.e., I know what a squat rack looks like. I've always had trouble finding pants with enough room in the thighs. The waist size was not the issue (I could go up 6 inches in the waist and the thighs remained too tight). These are the first "fitted" pants that I've found that actually allow for a muscular lower body.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better. I, like many others, have been looking for the perfect pair of pants to fit a build with small waist, large butt and thighs. This style is unfortunately not the one. While it certainly has more room than D1 and has added stretch to accommodate moving around, they are not suited for more muscular/athletic builds. If I buy my normal size, the Athletic Tapered fit is nearly skin tight on my butt, thighs and calves. I can move around in them without discomfort but you can easily see the outline of the pockets and of my boxer briefs. Sizing up 1 helps, but naturally the waist becomes too large. This experience lines up with all my other experiences with "athletic fit" clothing. They don't go extreme enough with the cut, such as chest to waist drop, or waist to thigh width, and so some of us have to resort to tailoring. As for the quality and construction, it's about what you expect from this price range and from Dockers. I have nothing to complain about there. I recommend trying these out anyway, but I wouldn't get your hopes up if you haven't had luck with other athletic fits in the past. These are not groundbreaking pants.

Is athletic stretch different from athletic fit?

The Title says Athletic Stretch but the description says Athletic Fit. I need to know exactly what they are called so I can buy them for someone. Thank you!
