Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sweet Flowers, Powdery Blooms I think the Floral Drops fragrance by Dolce and Gabanna is very sweet, light and romantic. If you're a fan of powdery, floral fragrances with a hint of crisp green notes this would be a great scent to try. I prefer the dry down fragrance to the initial floral bloom when the scent is applied. It develops into a warmer, greener and more sophisticated fragrance over time. It is very subtle and could be a good choice for an occasion like a wedding or party where you want a pleasant scent that isn't overwhelming. It also would work well for the office because it is subtle and a good daytime scent. My husband wasn't a particular fan of the fragrance, but he doesn't care for overly flowery scents - he much prefers fragrances that have vanilla or citrus notes. He preferred it after it had dried down because the more herbal notes were apparent and he does like clean fresh fragrances. My sample went right in my purse for a pick me up at work. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh, floral and sexy! I absolutely love this fragrance from Dolce and Gabanna. The Floral Drops have such a light scent that is not too overpowering and is just what I imagine when I think of spring. I absolitely love the fresh, floral scent. I think it is so unique that this perfume has green Neroli leaves and Papaya Flower. These are two of my favorite ingredients! I also love the scent of white flowers and White Amaryllis that also makes up this head turning perfume. If you want to get noticed in a crowd, definitely wear this perfume and you will be noticed by everyone. This perfume helped me to feel fresh all day long and my husband said that it still lingered even after I got home from work hours later. I would definitely recommend this scent to anyone who wants to feel beautiful, you're no and sexy, guaranteed to get younoticed because the scent is so attractive. A good perfume really sets the stage for a great evening and this one does just that! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Touch Feminine As the name of the fragrance notes, this one has floral tones to it. The smell reminds me of Spring with a touch of musk. When I think of men's fragrances, I don't typically think of flowers because the scent tends to be reserved for women. For me, Floral Drops has an initial smell of flowers and then it fades to musk with each whiff. It goes to me thinking I am smelling a woman to smelling a man. I find it rather confusing and I doubt I would use this scent frequently. This scent would be good for a nice date in the park during the day. I picture linen shorts or pants, sandals or Sperry's, and a cool shirt. It is definitely not a fragrance for the evening, Fall, or Winter. It's also the wrong scent for those men who are more suited to the fashion of the Marlboro man. I would also suggest avoiding it for men who are afraid of smelling like a woman. With that said, some women might like to wear it, if they want to avoid smelling too feminine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful Bottom Notes but Doesn't Last Long I like to wear fragrance almost everyday, so I know what I like in a perfume. Dolce & Gabbana Floral Drops is exactly what is sounds like - walking through a flower garden on a spring day. When first applied the fragrance is quite strong. It has an overpowering floral scent that is similar to many other floral fragrances on the market. These top notes, however, do not last very long. After an hour or so, the bottom notes make their way through. That's when the perfume, in my opinion, really becomes something unique and special. The dry down notes include sandalwood and musk. These scents blend magnificently together. My biggest gripe on this fragrance is that it does not last long on my skin. While I don't mind the top notes dissipating quickly, I would prefer the bottom notes to last longer. If I spray it at the start of the day, I need to reapply at lunch and again after work. I need a scent that has more longevity. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft scent for summer After receiving a free sample, I've used the Dolce for several consecutive days and, I must say, I like it. Maybe it's the fact that I started trying it concurrent with spring finally kicking into full gear, but its gentle scent is very refreshing and pleasant. It's definitely a spring/summer cologne. It's too dainty for winter. It may be too dainty for some men. But I sure do like it for the month of May, and I'm not afraid to wear a cologne that doesn't scream "manly." I'm not the type to gush over a cologne sample (I usually end up tossing the handful of samples the Macy's sales associate throws in the bag after a cologne purchase), but I unhesitatingly endorse this one. Lastly, I'll note that I usually get tired/bored with any particular cologne by the time I get through half of a bottle, so, given that I only received a sample vial, I can't predict whether the D&G Floral Drops scent would meet that same fate. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous, long lasting scent Was extremely excited when I received my bzzkit of Prestige Fragrances until I saw that they were mostly for men. With that being said, The Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Floral Drops was the perfect mixture of scents for a floral perfume. I'm really bad with guessing what scents are being used, but I felt like if I closed my eyes, I'd picture a field of Star Gazer Lillies and the sweet aroma they release. Dolce Floral Drops wasn't as overpowering as most floral fragrances that leave you with that slight headache all day. This fragrance was light and airy. It was a delight when my daughter and I wore it to a bridal shower, and we were stopped by two different people asking us what perfume we were wearing. It truly lasted the full day and even when I put my jacket on two days later I was treated to that amazing smell once again without the need to spritz another drop. Definitely on the list to ask for, for Mother's Day!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like walking through a garden I am so in love with Floral Drops by Dolce & Gabanna. I usually don't like flowery perfumes but this one is different. It doesn't smell overpowering and it doesn't smell like an "old lady" perfume. I remember when I was younger I use to go with my grandma to her friends houses and it was like walking into a florist but with so many different flowery scents it was very overpowering and it just didn't smell good. Since then I always stayed clear of the flowery scents but I figured I would give it a try when I saw it in my bzzagent package to review. Could I pick up floral notes? Absolutely but the best part was that it wasn't overpowering - it was subtle and it didn't take me back to my childhood and being surrounded by all of my grandmothers friends. It instead took reminded me of a garden in the spring that was first blooming. Light, airy and just a hint of flowers. The perfect flowery perfume in my opinion! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not your grandmother's floral perfume Prior to receiving this fragrance sample any perfume with floral in the name made me think of my grandmother and the pungent, flowery scents she would wear. I always avoided floral -dominant perfumes because I worried they wouldn't smell youthful and modern. This perfume made me realize there are floral perfumes that provide a twist on the expected. I sprayed this a few times on my wrists, rubbed them together and gave them time to meld with my body's natural chemistry. I was pleasantly surprised with the result. No overpoweringly floral fragrance here. Rather, I found something subtle and nuanced that seemed to reveal different sides of itself the more I sniffed. If you're sick of one note fragrances that drift away too easily this is for you. I love how romantic it smells, making it perfect for a date night perfume. That said, if you're not into uber feminine perfumes, this probably isn't the scent for you, but I like to embrace my inner girlie girl so I love this.
