Berger warrants to the original consumer, purchaser that the movement of your new watch will be free from original defects in workmanship and material for two years from the date of purchase. Your watch movement will be either replaced or repaired, or the watch will be replaced with one of an equal or greater value at our option, or timekeeping accuracy adjusted without charge during the warranty period. This warranty does not apply to the bracelet, case, or crystal.
The case, crystal and bracelet are sold "as is." The entire risk as to their quality and performance is on the buyer and should they prove defective, the buyer, not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, assumes the entire cost of all necessary service or repair. The warranty foes not extend to any parts of your new watch that have been subjected to misuse of accident. Nor does it cover any M.Z. Berger watch that has been tampered with, altered or repaired other than by M.Z. Berger service centers. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSES OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED, COMMENCING TWO YEARS FORM DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

During the warranty period there is no charge for the repair of replacement of your watch movement. However, there is a $5.50 charge for handling. This handling charge may be changed without notice by M. Z. Berger & Co. For repair or replacement of parts not covered by this warranty of after the warranty expires you will be notified of the cost of repairs. To obtain service, mail your batch via insured parcel post to: M.Z.
