Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this set - Epicurious® 11-pc. Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set I've had this cookware for about a month and I love this set. This is my 1st Hard-Anodized set. Did a ton of research, read lots of reviews and decided on this set after I went into the Penney's store and actually held the pots. This is a high quality, heavy duty, durable set. I was originally going to get the red aluminum set but the hard-anodized felt so much sturdier and of higher quality. I was a bit skeptical because some reviews mention rust developing after washing the cookware. I have not experienced any rust issues when washing my cookware. I have placed water and detergent to soak the insides of the pots/pans to remove food; however I never submerge my cookware in dishwater. I also read that water gets trapped in the lid knobs. I have noticed that but I try to dry as much as I can and the rest air dries - again no rust issues. Also purchased an extra 8-quart pot and the cast iron skillet - both Epicurious. Love all pieces. Will post any issues if I experience them, but at this time I love Epicurious cookware!! I have now thrown out about 95% of my old cookware and have no regrets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality! I bought this for my mom for an early Christmas present. I have to say I fell in love with them myself. They are quite heavy, but they clean up amazingly. I love how the pots have a curve to them. That's what attracted me the most to them, I chose these ones opposed to the colored set they have because I didn't think aluminum would hold up well. The handles on the big pot and the lids are awesome! Your handles will still get a little hot in the big pot so mittens are a must. If anything that would be my only complaint. Other than that everything is smooth sailing with these! I'm buying myself a set as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like my set of epicurious pans. I have been searching for the perfect set of pans for me. I think I will be so happy with the Epicurious anodized set. I won't have to worry about peeling or scraping the inside. I love the handles and the see through lids. Good sizes in this set and hope to enjoy cooking with them for many years.

What is the difference in construction between the 8 quart stockpot in this set, and the separately sold 8 quart Dutch Oven?

I am unclear why one is a stockpot and the other is considered a Dutch Oven.
