Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally on Clearance~! I had been wanting this quilt for a long time but couldn't justify the cost. It went on clearance and I snatched it up. So glad it did! Even more beautiful in person. Love the fabric, the stitching, and the colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bedroom update. I purchased this quilt set as an update for my bedroom. I wanted something with color, but not over the top and not too feminine. I really love it. I actually bought a King set for my Queen bed, on purpose. I find the Full/Queen sets are not wide enough to actually cover the mattress. But, my one criticism is the size of the shams. I wish the shams could be purchased separately so that I could have gotten standard size shames for my Queen size bed. So, I actually just cut them down and re-sewed the flange to fit my pillows. Love the look.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good quality, a little busy. It has a good quality feel to it. It's a bit "busier" than I was hoping for, but I should have gathered that from the photo. I probably would have returned it if I hadn't already had to go through the return process once (I ordered a queen and was sent a king).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pretty The print fabric is even more vibrant than what you can see in the photo - it's beautiful and colorful. I purchased a king-sized quilt to use as a bedspread on a double bed and it's just the right size to be floor length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this set! The colors are bright and beautiful. I purchased a king size for my queen bed and it was perfect. The bedspread goes all the way to the floor, this way.

Answer:
I think you do need a bedskirt. Although my bed is fairly high, I have a bedskirt because I don't want to see any open space under the bed. And, my current bedskirt is white and I did not get a new one, it looks fine. But, if you wanted to get something with color I would choose the sandlewood, I think the Ivory would be difficult to try to match.

Hope that helps.
