Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful and classy We have had these shades on our kitchen windows for years and they still look just as gorgeous as when we first installed them and we have gotten many complements over the years. They still work just as smoothly as they did in the beginning. July 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply beautiful I bought these shades for my kitchen and they are simply stunning. The fabric is gorgeous, the shades are sturdy and they give my kitchen a complete "rich" feel. I get compliments on them from everyone that visits. September 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing These roman shades were constructed of flimsy fabric and construction. The support for one shade snapped in half with the weight of the curtain while trying to install it. They did fit perfectly, however. February 28, 2014

Answer:
At it's highest point, the blind is about 6". I really like these blinds. The only change would be to not have the exposed draw cord. I liked the ones in the store that have a little loop under the bottom, on the window side of the blind the didn't have the exposed cord when drawn, but they were out of my price range. This one was a little pricey.

Answer:
The white lining is sewn to the back of the fabric, and then the white cording is assembled to the back of the lining.  You will see cords on the back of the lining.
