Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pot! I love this pot! It's larger than the one I was using for a stock pot before, yet not too big and heavy to be able to carry from sink to stove (and back). I can boil pasta in it with more water and less boil-over, and the handles stay cool enough to handle safely when carrying it to the sink to drain. August 15, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE!! I use this pot often. It is heavy duty and durable. The pot is attractive as well. I use it to make soupns and stove top roasts. I also found it useful to mix apple pie filling since no bowl or pan is ever big enough. Ive mixed potato and pasta salads in it too. I have not used it in the oven yet. November 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly What I Needed I purchased the 6 quart stock pot over a year ago, but it did not come with a lid. I'd been making do with the lid for an 8 quart pot, but that wasn't very satisfactory. This lid fits perfectly and is just what I needed. The price was reasonable, shipping was quick, and I appreciated the free shipping. June 28, 2014

Answer:
Well I had to change to the 8 quart size because the 6 quart was too small, but either way don't think it would fit. I don't know anything about the 10 inch Fry Pan but the sides of the lid for the stock pot are wide sides/deep I guess you can say. It's not a basic lid with a small/thin lip it actual insets into the pot.
