  • Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is very user friendly I love this ice cream maker. It's so easy to use and makes great ice cream everytime. It only takes minutes to make and easy clean up. I've learned to keep the tub in the freezer for at least two days before making the ice cream so that the ice cream isn't too soft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase ever I love this machine. I had a 5 quart old fashioned type ice cream maker that finally bit the dust. I decided to try the Cuisinart Ice 30...I absolutely love it! I've used it 3 times within a month! Makes wonderful ice cream!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with it! I purchased it 3 weeks ago, and I can't stop to use it. Ice cream is delicious and I know exactly what I put there. The taste like the best Italian homemade ice cream. You just need to read carefully instructions and choose right products (for example, you have to use whole milk, and not fat reduced one). Make sure that your freezer works properly and set it to the temperature indicated in the instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase I would recommend this product to anyone. It is the best purchase that I've made. I love JC penny's products. The only draw back is that you can't make two batches because the freezer bucket does not stay frozen enought to make a second batch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product This is fun and easy to use. The ice cream turns out a bit soft, so you have to freeze it right away. I have also noticed that when taken out of the freezer the ice cream melts very quickly. There is nothing better than the taste of pure, simple ingredients found in making your own.

    How does it work>

If the ice cream maker does not use ice/salt to freeze - how does it work? And why can't you make two batches as reviewers all state.
    Asked by: Daisy50
The ice cream maker comes with 2,12 oz bowls. They have a liquid made inside the walls of the bowl that will freeze. You must freeze the bowls 8 hours before use. You can make 2 batches with 2 frozen bowls.

Can you use your own recipes with this ice cream maker?

    Asked by: wrigleylu
I tried to modify the recipes for sugar-free sorbet or frozen dessert and was rewarded with a soupy mess. Otherwise, works great.
