I bought this for the convince of the grinder being one with the coffee maker. The problem with this unit is as another reviewer stated, the steam gets into the grinder and it gets clogged up. I returned it and went back to my stand alone grinder and old coffee maker for now, hopefully I'll find the quality unit I'm looking for.....until then, it's the old standby. Also, the coffee takes forever to brew, I use my Keurig while waiting......

I absolutely love my coffeemaker. I have owned several over the years and this one is the best. Easy to operate and clean. Love waking up to fresh brewed coffee.

The grind and brew feature is fabulous. It guarantees a fresh cup of coffee every time. I also like the fact that I can prepare at night and have a fresh, hot, cup of coffee when I get up.

I have had this coffee maker for approximently 5 years, and this weekend the grinder went out (still makes coffee though). I have bought regular coffee makers, and they usually don't last more than a year so I am impressed with this one.
I am able to have fresh ground coffee, which I enjoy my coffee strong
Will keep my coffee piping hot for up to 4 hours without tasting burnt. (I am extremely picky about my coffee)
Able to set timer and smell the fresh aroma of coffee in the morning...makes me wake up.
I received many compliments from friends, and they even bought one too.
Having to clean the grinder every day which takes about 30 seconds. Not a big deal but its a con even though I would have to clean a regular grinder as well.
I spend way more money on fresh beans and WILL NOT purchase just any coffee. Having some of the best coffee might make you go out of your way just to go buy the best beans...fair warning.
It broke on me after 5 years...not really a con but I couldn't think of anything else.
The review I am writing for has the glass carafe, however, mine came with the thermal carafe. I recommend the thermal and not glass unless you can drink a pot within 30 minutes.

I have purchased this coffee maker three times. One for our camper, RV and home. I love the fresh grind feature option that makes it unique. The coffee is delicious and whether beans or pre ground coffee is used. Highly recommend to coffee lovers!!

The Grind and Brew is easy to use, love it actually makes Hot Coffee and stays Hot!! The cons the grinder gathers some humidity from the water chamber and needs to be cleaned and kept dry out of the machine. Also if you are planning to use the grinder more often than already ground coffee... use high quality beans, and use less water than the instruction state. You will not be able to brew 12 cups with the grinder capacity in one batch. But it does work great and once you get your perfect formula you will be quite happy with this machine. It looks excellent on your counter top which is a plus!

I am now shopping for another coffee maker. I've had 2 of these and they are not good. The first one lasted a couple months and had to be replaced because it cracked and leaked. Then I bought another one hoping it would be improved. It is very hard to clean, I usually end up with coffee all over the countertop. Now the coffee runs out the side front of the machine and not in the thermos.
Sometimes I get coffee grounds in the machiine and not in the basket. It usually doesn't even grind all the beans. I does make a good cup of coffee if it gets iin the karafe instead of all over the kitchen.
I am looking to buy a different brand this time.
