by budgetmomma LOVE these
I love these curtains. I purchased them in the cream which is truly that...a cream - complete with a warm touch of yellow & pink so they aren't stark white. These are thick without compromising the drapes flow. Straight out of the package they were wrinkled but using a very low setting on the iron got most of the wrinkles out. Overall, I think these are almost Restoration Hardware quality but for a 1/3 of the price & plan to purchase more of these throughout my home. Very pleased!

Rated 3 out of 5 by RobOhio great colors, but wrinkly
This was the style of curtain I had in mind, and it comes in a variety of colors and lengths. They were on sale, which made them pretty much irresistible. They show white to the outside, contrary to what I was told when I enquired at JCPenney.com. I ordered soft cream, traditional navy and rustic red. The colors are great, but fabric is very wrinkly, particularly the cream. The navy is the the best, and the red is in between. I ran them through a rinse cycle and hung them up wet, per the directions, but the fold lines and wrinkles didn't hang out. They are extremely noticeable on the cream, and I ended up pressing them with a steam iron, which helped, but who wants to iron curtains?! I'm hoping that with a real laundering and time, they will straighten out. Also, I noticed two curtains are not exactly the same length as the others. I haven't decided yet whether I would buy these again, or if I would recommend them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KnitWit Good value and just what I was looking for.
Looking ahead to winter, I wanted an insulated curtain to cover a standard-size entry way between two rooms in our cabin. I ordered two curtains to hang back to back for better appearance on both sides of the door AND double thickness to keep the cold out and the warmth in. I couldn't have made anything better than these curtains for twice the price. Very satisfied. Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Fran Shrinks and misshapen!
Washed these curtains this weekend. So upset, they now hang about 4 inches from the floor! Major shrinkage in cold, and low dryer. Pretty poor construction, now upon hanging the liner is not shrunk, and the curtain twists around and shows the liner on both sides. I will be seeking exchange or refund!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pennylover These drapes are a family favorite
I have grown up with JC penny drapes being in my home. Now, I am 51 and both parents have passes, I am decorating with a man's style in mind. All of the windows have JC penny drapes on them. I love the Jenner cotton twill drapes in colors befitting the rooms. They are good quality, well made, value priced and can be thrown into the washer and dried. I love them so much that I am going to use the patterning of them and make three panels for my den in the color that was called Aurora, a blue green colored drape. Believe me, you can not go wrong with buying these drapes and they come in a large variety of colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by shopper486 Great Value, Curtains are just what I was looking for
I purchased these in soft cream. The color consistency is great (as oppose to some other reviews). I suspect those comments may be based on the fact that some threads and perhaps excess fabric can get caught between the liner and outer layer during manufactuering and packaging, but when you iron the curtains and clean these bits and pieces out the fabric consistency is totally fine.
These are in our nursery, and they cut down on the light significantly, but there is still some natural light (which is what we wanted). It is totally cozy for afternoon naps without creating an environment where our child requires complete darkness for a nap.
It is nice that there is a tab and pocket, it allows you the flexibility to choose your look. The only downfall is that the pocket is slightly small, so if you have a thicker curtain rod it is a little difficult to open and close the curtains. I had to retrofit my curtain rod with some sticky fasteners (rod to bracket), so the rod does not move when I move the curtains along them. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase! I would definitely recommend these curtains.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kermit Curtains shrink a lot
Bought 2 panels. Washed and dried them prior to hanging. Had dryer setting on low. One panel, the front shrunk 2 inches. This is leaving the thermal backing hanging down below the front color part. Will be returning that one and hope the next one doesn't do the same.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Macs You Cannot Dry Them in the Dryer
I needed a very durable, wrinkle-resistant set of curtains. These are definitely not what I needed. Yes, they can be washed, but you cannot put them in the dryer. They wrinkle easily. I honestly cannot recommend them. I will be replacing them soon.
