Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly pleased and surprised I ordered woven bamboo grommet panels in early January, 2016 from on on-line retailer. Two months later I still had no panels but my credit card was charged. I was given a laundry list of excuses from slow down in production due to Chinese New Year to back-orders. A delivery date could not be guaranteed even in March! I sat in a new home with no sliding glass door window coverings. I cancelled the order. I went to JC Penny on-line and found similar panels for HALF the price! I ordered two panels which were delivered in merely four days. I was so impressed with the quality of the product, I ordered four more panels for more coverage at night. Those panels arrived in just three days. The product added such amazing style and quality to my home which has plantation shutters on all the other windows. Plus, there are no cords or string to hassle! What an incredible experience with JC Penny! I am an exceptionally delighted customer from the standpoint of quality of product, service delivery, and stellar value for a rock bottom low price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really nice look! Bought 4 panels to cover my patio door. I was looking for something different and these were it. I ordered the pecan color which is basically a chocolate brown color. They are heavy and sturdy. The 4 panels together do a nice job to keep from being see thru but still not completely private, however you would have to be right at the door looking in to see inside the house. I would totally recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with this product We really like the way these panels look on our sliding door in our dining room; they're casual yet dressier than traditional vertical blinds. We have an open floor plan so wanted casual. We chose the Teak color & to us it's very neutral but adds some color. On our 74" door we put 3 panels & slide them to one side. It was a challenge with the weight of these blinds - we ended up putting a piece of conduit inside the curtain rod so it didn't sag in the middle. Otherwise we'd have to put the middle bracket in & go to 4 panels & slide to both sides - this works better for us. When they're closed they do let light in, which is just what we wanted in our situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant Solution I was able to use a seam ripper to remove the bottom binding and regular scissors to cut down the blind to the length I needed. I agree the color is darker in person Vs the picture. Also, the curtain panel is very heavy. Anything longer than 4feet or so will warp a weak curtain rod. They look great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! Finally found something for the patio doors! I have been looking for years for a window treatment for the sliding patio doors in our dining room. Have tried several types of drapes and not really thrilled with any of them (didn't want verticals and didn't want to spend $$$$$ on these...) Saw these bamboo panels, ordered three in teak and picked up a sturdy curtain rod. Voila! Love the look, the quality and ease of use. We did use a center bracket because these are heavy. Set the bracket to the left so one panel on left and placed two panels on right. Perfect to slide the one panel to left to open the door.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Blinds to Deflect Bright Sun I ordered two different colors at various times. The natural color is nice and so is the Teak, although they are a little darker than the picture. It worked for me because they somehow match my dining set. The point of purchasing these was to try to block out the very direct, very bright sun that sets on the back of my house. Drives me absolutely crazy. I've taken several pictures so that you can see that these deliver well. I don't even have to close the blinds anymore on the windows that have them because when I slide the bamboo panels over, they block out the sun. They also are very neat, hang well but heavy so make sure to have the correct rod and support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality at a great price I purchased 8 of these panels over a year ago for two patio doors and was so impressed with their look and quality that I recently bought more for another door. They are very well designed and constructed. They are also heavy. This is something that needs to be taken into account in choosing your rod and in fastening the rod brackets to the wall. In my case I was attaching to a brick wall and hanging four panels on each rod. This required some innovation because of the positioning of the rod, the nature of the brick (burnt adobe brick, which is very soft) and the location of existing mortar joints. Was able to work this out for a temporary hanging of the rod but ultimately I will fabricate a rod hanger to be attached to the wooden beams in my cathedral ceiling. These particulars aside, the weight of the panels is part of their appeal for me. They have a very robust appearance, reduce a little heat gain in the summer (I'm in Tucson) and the color(s) are great. I plan on purchasing more for other doors in my home. The regular price is reasonable for the quality and the sale price makes them a real bargain. Delivery was quite quick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From the house of windows...highly recommended The entire east side of our house is windows.... Beautiful but not so efficient. I put these blinds on 4 patio/sliders and on 4 6' wide windows in great room... I can't tell you in a review how wonderful they are. Very satisfied with the panels and how they match everything in our log cabin....up north feel...of a house. Please feel free to email me for pictures and more info...

Can they be used outdoors - screened in porch.?

Asked by: shelly
I would think so, but they won't hold up as long as they would if indoor.

Can the length be cut?

Asked by: Lynn
The length would be very hard to adjust/cut because of the woven bamboo.

I bought the Walnut brown but think its a tad too dark. Is the Teak and Natural Bamboo colors the same? (Is the color difference in the banding only?)

Asked by: Becky
We bought the Natural. From the onsite images and comments, Teak is darker.

I realize these panels come in a 48 inch width but my question is what is the depth or thickness of a panel if you re measuring it from the side?

I know these come out of the box and close and open like an accordion they look to be about 2 or 3 inches thick or deep. Hope that question makes sense. 48"W by 84" L by ????" D ?
Asked by: Teddy
If your asking how deep each fold is, mine are pretty spread out but I measured 3 1/2 to 4 inches. They are beautiful. The let enough light but still give privacy. Hope that helps. -MB

Is there a backing that can be added to these panels for added privacy?

Asked by: Donna
You can get the backing you are talking about at any fabric store but they are NOT fluid curtains. They are solid panels that look more like the indoor/ outdoor patio rugs that you see than curtains. I was hugely dissappointed. Mine got sent back. They are solid and cannot be shortened or have anything sewn onto them. Very disappointed!

Does it matter what side the curtains face?

Asked by: Quickshopper
Not sure what you mean. These are the same color on either side, if that's what you're asking.
