Review of Big Game 710 Gamesaver. As a sportsman, I was really excited to be able to use this product. From everything I had heard, it was better than the standard Foodsaver products out there. Let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint. For starters it's more powerful. I was able to vaccine and seal several products without the sealer overheating. Not only this, but sealing liquid products is kind of a pain with other models. With this model, there is a locking mechanism that engages before you can seal your bag which holds the bag in place (not so with others I've used). One drawback I've found with this product is the fact that you have to lock and unlock the lid before you can insert or remove your bags (before/after sealing). Another selling point on this model is the presence of an auto adapter so you can use it in the field to help protect your catch before putting it in the cooler. I received this product as a sample to test for my review and I must say, I would highly recommend it to others. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is my fifth Foodsaver. I gave away two so I couldI upgrade, one committed suicide by hurling itself on the floor, and one just quit pulling a vacuum. I decided to try a bigger upgrade, and bought this one. It's solid, easy to use, and really powerful. Hopefully, the long warranty will keep it from having problems. (I firmly believe that having a solution prevents problems in the first place!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jade1956 Finally, the right Foodsaver for me!
I have had several Food Savers over the years and I've managed to burn out every one of them. Finally, a gifted customer support person suggested this one. I've had it about 3 months and I don't have a single complaint. If you get the bag down into the channel, it seals every time as long as you leave room in the bag for that dip into the channel. It takes an extra bag or two for each project, but it's well worth two bags to eliminate the frustration factor of bags not sealing. This is the best food saver for bulk sealers. I shop and my assistants make hordes of food. I seal up to 100 bags of food in a session. This one wants to rest once or twice in there, and I don't mind; I just fill more bags while it takes a break. This one is a peach!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BigBadUglyDude Gamesaver is a Gamechanger!
When we got this product, it was simple and easy to use right out of the box. It has easy to use instructions and within minutes you arre on your way to using it for everything. We first tried this out in the kitchen, so we could familiarize ourselves just before our next hunt. After my wife bagged her first buck, we chopped that bad boy up and started using the BigGame 710 Gamesaver. We thought this was easy to use, right out of the truck. Having the car adaptor and vacuum sealing was the best and fresh way to do it. It just keeps that fresh taste, weeks and months from the kill. This thing can simply be used for that or many other uses and adapts to other Foodsaver products. Unfortunately where we live, we don't get to hunt all year for the big game, but this thing can be used for everything. I highly recommend this unit to anyone that plans to hunt and fish often . I did receive this unit as a sample to review. and absolutely think its the best. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by Elclavo75 Excellent quality product built to last
The Big Gamesaver is an overall excellent product. So far I have used it 3 times, performing at least 10 seals each time and it has worked wonderfully. The Big Gamesaver is basically a heavy duty version of the Foodsaver with a couple of extra features. It is larger than the Foodsaver but also seems a lot more sturdy and durable. It is extremely easy to make bags and vacuum seal them with this product. The product also includes a power adapter that you can plug into your truck so that if you wanted to vacuum seal your product before loading it in your ice chest, you could do so. Overall, I have been very impressed with the speed and quality at which this item is able to vacuum seal bags. I would recommend this item instead of the Foodsaver for anyone who vacuum seals bags on a regular basis. This item seems extremely well built and seems like it will last forever. Please note that I received this product for free to try out and review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by prisme27 Amazing ability in convenient size.
When I first received the Big Game Foodsaver, I was a little worried because for the price, I expected the unit to be a lot bigger and have a lot more choices and features. Little did I know that this much awesomeness can be packaged in such a small and convenient machine. I use a vacuum sealer quite often because I have a family of 5 and 3 of them are growing boys so we have to buy meat in bulk as well as hunt. This machine surprised me each time I have used it. I wanted to put it for the full test and vacuum sealed 8 bags of ground beef, 4 bags of stew meat and 3 london broil cuts of meat one right after the other without the recommended cool down between each bag. My last few vacuum sealers would have overheated after about the 5th or 6th one in a row and would have to let it cool off for about 10 minutes before continuing. The simple set up makes using it right out of the box easy and not confusing at all. I especially love the 12V car adapter so that I can use this unit out in the field. I would recommend this unit to everyone I know. I received this product as a sample and it blew me away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
